I too, don't mind paying a bit more to get better quality, but I totally understand there are other vitamin sources out there that others may prefer. I was about to have a shipment go out from ProCaps (Andrew's company) which included the 480 capsule bottle of Glucosamine Chondroitin (formerly was 600 when it was a 5 capsule serving but this is the same amount with the 4 cap serving) and I was able to switch it to the same TS special 600 being offered at HSN at the same price as HSN. I also take MSM. I suppose I could switch to the Maximum Joint Effort, which includes 100mg Turmeric, but I'm not sure I need the Turmeric (I agree, it would be nice to get far more information on that) and with these deals it costs much less.

The glucosamine/chondroitin product at Puritan's Pride is the HCI not the Sulfate form. The Sulfate form is the one that has the positive studies. Also, this formula has magnesium stearate which is used as a lubricant so that the machines filling the capsules don't stick. I like the fact that AL's products don't contain this.

I've used knock-off brands and I've used AL's and I just don't see the same good effects with the knock-offs. As to Andrew using scare tactics....really? I've never seen a vendor with a more calm, pleasant demeanor. He just presents the facts from research and reads reviews.

AL's Maximum Joint effort does contain MSM and turmeric.

I just bought a glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM supplement from Vitacost. It's the Sulfate form and also has magnesium stearate. It was $36.99 for 360 capsules, and you take four capsules a day.

I am ordering the set of 12 travel bottles. I didn't realize those were available. I like to decant these massive tubs so I can put them in one of my kitchen cabinets. I bought small containers from eBay but they are wide and take up a lot of room. I think these will be a better fit in my cabinet. And at $9.90 it's a great price. I paid more on eBay for what I bought.

I think it is great that he is offering the small bottles. I might be interested except, looking at my current supplements, I have several small bottles & I can recycle them, relabeling a few.

I feel blessed to be able to afford the large sizes right now. I haven't always been able to fit them into my budget. I think I'll be able to store the large containers in a closet, keeping the small ones in a more easily accessible area.

Andrew has never used anything I would call scare tactics. He does educate. I appreciate that.

Does anyone know when Andrew's next visit will be? I know he will be back sometime in april but will he be back at all before then?

I will listen to see when they say he will be on again after the last show.

Now that he has the studio in Henderson, I think he will be on more, especially for things like Host Pick where he is presenting just one or 2 products.

I ordered a small (30 day) Marine Collagen to see if I like it. He said he might do a bundle in July with it as part of the TS, so I don't want to buy a lot if he's going to offer a good price on it.

For some reason I am highly curious about this product.

Did anyone hear him say he's developing an oatmeal product, I think it's in the Secure line with the Whey protein. He was talking about it during the Whey presentation.

I have transitioned to a Primal eating lifestyle, so Oatmeal is out for me, but it's definitely interesting.

He also said he makes skin care as a hobby. Colleen got all excited because she wanted him to bring it to HSN but he said it's just something he dabbles in.

I'm thinking he won't be back until April - only because the TS today comes with a 20% off coupon if you buy his supplements on HSN between 2/15 and 3/15. So that makes me think he won't be on in March. Unless he comes in at the end of March.

I believe his April TS will be the Ultimate Eye Support. At least it was last year.

I just started on the Marine Collagen product last weekend and have been taking it every day. I really don't like the taste of it at all. I know he says it has no taste or that the taste is "flat" but I think it's pretty bad. Of course I'm just mixing it in plain water. If you made smoothies every day you might be able to disguise it in that.

I just wish he would make this product in a liquid gelcap, like his fish oil & vitamin E caps. Why not I wonder?
