@bebe777 thanks for the info. I will be getting those CoQ10. I emailed you back btw.
Anyone???
ETA: @bebe777 I did get you email about this so thank you!
@HappyDaze sorry for the late reply to your question but I somehow missed it when I was skimming through this thread.
The short answer to your question is that Andrew recommends that people purchase the COQ10 version which is in his today's special value. This COQ10 is called Ubiquinone. -- The other version of CoQ10 that Andrew sells is called ubiquinal.
they are essentially the same molecule but The ubiquinol is the reduced active version of COQ10. That description makes ubiquinol sound more impressive than it actually is.
This is because once inside the body CoQ10 which is an electron donor -- which is how it creates energy for the body cells -- goes back-and-forth between the ubiquinone and ubiquinol versions. This is because CoQ10 is able to recycle itself within the body for a period of time.
I've actually spoken to Dr. Barry who is the head of the Kaneka research department on several occasions. He feels that for older adults that it's easier for them to initially synthesize the ubiquinol.
For the past several years Andrews take on this is that the research does not support this perspective. And because the ubiquinol is 2 1/2 to 3 times more expensive then ubiquinone Andrew continues to recommend that people purchase the less expensive ubiquinone.
this is one of the things I really like about Andrew. He could be making a lot more money by selling a much more expensive product but he could care less about that. He just wants everyone to get the best value for their supplements.
several years back Andrew did offer The Ubiquinol as a today's special and I did purchase it. I felt that there was a subtle increased effectiveness in the ubiquinol but not enough for me to want to pay 2 1/2 times more for it. If Andrew offers it again as a today special I would also pick up the Ubiquinol in addition to the ubiquinone.
Other than that I will continue to purchase the fabulous value for the ubiquinone today's special value.
HD let me know if that answers all of your questions. ![]()

One of the products Andrew sells comes with a bottle of B complex. It must be the TruQ10.
re his tie
I will bet my next paycheck that he forgot his ties at home and bought this at the Tampa airport.
That is a very Florida tie.

The coupon you get with the TS is odd this time. It's not for the whole month, only certain dates.
I wonder what is happening at HSN during the non-coupon weeks that the coupon isn't eligible.

I never thought of that - that he might have forgot his ties. Definitely a possibility. My first thought was that Muriel picked it out! lol...
Yes, the B complex is bundled with the TruQ10. That had me confused.
I tend to be deficient in B12 (although, thanks to supplementing, my labs are very good right now) and I wonder if the B12 included in the TS, along with what is included in HHS&N will be enough to keep it in the good range? I don't want to take an additional B12 supplement if I don't need it. I need to check my other supps, too, and see what my total amount of B12 from supps is per day.

Good question! I wonder if the non-coupon dats might be times when Andrew will be doing online only shows again? Maybe another online only TS & special pricing?
Nice that this coupon is for 25% off. I rarely use the coupons but it is nice to have them available because sometimes I miss reordering something during his visits.

The coupon is only a good deal if HSN has the sale prices & free shipping like they do today. The dates the coupon is good for there will probably be no free shipping or reduced prices. The reduced prices HSN has today are Andrew's every day prices on his ProCapsLabs site. So 25% off would give you about the same price you would pay for the products today on HSN.

Ok I will do some research on it. What brand do you use? I was just looking at a liquid on iHerb. The reviews say it tastes horrible.
I use Good State brand. I order it from Amazon. What I get is not supposed to be consumed straight. It is not flavored & pretty nasty straight. I add it to a tall glass of water & don't notice it much. I also add some to flavored water (I add extracts).
I may have to try the Natural Calm magnesium for a better flavor. I don't know that I could continue using something that has a bad taste. I tried to use NeoCell Collagen powder & could not stomach the taste. I about threw up every time I tried to drink it. I have high gag reflex. I need to do more research. Thanks for your help.

It is meant to be mixed with other things so you don't taste it. People add it to soup or stir it into food dishes. I just add it to water.
I think you might like magnesium oil (not actually an oil) instead of the liquid ionic magnesium. You apply it to your skin & it is absorbed & used. I think it is a better option than the natural calm. No additives or unnecessary ingredients. I have used the mag oil but I tend to forget it. I find the liquid to be more convenient.

I think Muriel has better taste. He doesn't have kids, so it wasn't a gift from kids. Maybe his mother bought it for him?
Bill Green is too short, so he can't borrow his ties. I don't think Guy wears ties.
He better hit the mall today. LOL

lol... You have thought this one through! Maybe he will comment on the ties later...or on his blog!
Do most of you take one or two per day of the CoQ10?
I was going to order the 400 size TS because I have been taking one per day. But I have never had noticeable benefits either so I decided to go for the best value and order the humongous 600 size. I'll try 2 per day & see if that makes a difference.
