@VaBelle35 Would you elaborate on the differences without phytoceramides?  It seems like I may have asked you this before (if so--sorry), but I'm interested in any additional benefits you may have noticed 😀.  TIA!

Re: Andrew Lessman Oct Shedule

@BExplorer  The biggest thing I've noticed is my hands.

I like to use CeraVe cream on my hands.  I have little pots all over the house, car and office.  I found I hardly used it while I was on the Phytoceramides.  I am a crazy handwasher and while I use Dr. Bonner's at home and at work., which is not drying, I still feel like I need the CeraVe again.

It is a very noticeable difference for me.

When I first started on it, I was taking 2 a day and dropped down to 1 a day due to the cost and I noticed a difference as well.

If I win the lottery, I would so take this twice a day.

Re: Andrew Lessman Oct Shedule

Thanks @VaBelle35.  I took one bottle from AL and I also thought my skin was softer but did not reorder.  I can't remember why--if they were out of stock, or maybe no reduced price at the time.

I just ordered my second bottle from Piping Rock, which I believe was just under $10 for a 30-day supply.  I think my skin is softer.  😊

COQ10 TODAY'S SPECIAL

IT’S OUR 21ST ANNIVERSARY
COENZYME Q-10 TODAY’S SPECIAL
CHOICE OF FREE VITAMIN D3

Let me first begin with a sincere thank you for the thoughts and prayers offered to our Las Vegas community.  We greatly appreciate the outpouring of support.  Thankfully everyone at ProCaps is fine, but sadly, there are many we know that were not so fortunate.  Of course, we all offer our prayers, but personally, I wish I could offer hope as well.  Hope that things will change, since even for those of us who were not personally touched, I believe each of these tragedies takes a toll on our country’s collective soul.  To me, this is not a political issue, but a very serious public health issue.  We all pray for the innocent victims of this latest horrific tragedy, but I also pray that our leaders find the wisdom and courage to create a world that is safer for all of us.  Again, thank you for your kind thoughts.

Each time we celebrate our Anniversary at HSN, I feel compelled to make it extra special, as a thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years.  You likely know that at ProCaps, we do not do any advertising and I have also refused to sell our products in retail stores, so in other words, we completely rely on our products and your faith in them to encourage others to try them.  Thanks to you, we are still at HSN some 21 years later and almost 27 years after I first very nervously took the stage at QVC.  Again, the only reason we are still here is your faith and loyalty to our products.  This weekend, we celebrate 21 wonderful years at HSN and there is no better way to do so than with our CoQ10.  It is our flagship product.  It is also a product that we proudly introduced to America long before anyone else some 33 years ago.  It took another decade or so for others to discover it, but as with many of our ingredients, we followed the science long before others paid attention to it.  CoQ10 is now consistently recommended by doctors and viewed as one of the most important ingredients to supplement.  Of course, some doctors might argue that Vitamin D3 or Vitamin B12 or perhaps even Vitamin C might be just as important, but with our 21st Anniversary Today’s Special, you can get them all and do so at our best savings ever on this product.  I am proud to say that our 200 mg CoQ10 today is less expensive today than our 30 mg CoQ10 33 years ago.  That would be like buying a car today for less than 10% of what you paid for it 33 years ago!smile Plus, because I did not do a Vitamin D3 Today’s Special this year, you can choose your CoQ10 with added Free Vitamin D3 of either 1000 IU or 2000 IU.  Your choice.  The Vitamin D3 is Free.  Our CoQ10 also provides the world’s most sophisticated B-Complex supplement, including our unique proprietary Methyl B12 and Methyl Folate.  These unique ingredients have made our CoQ10 a virtually perfectly reviewed product at 4.7 Stars with thousands upon thousands of 5-Star Reviews.  So, whether you seek the world’s finest high potency CoQ10 or the most sophisticated Vitamin B12 or even the best non-acidic Vitamin C, today, you get all of them in a small, easy-to-swallow capsule that will never upset your stomach for just pennies a day.  There is no company that has been making products with CoQ10 for longer than we have and it is that experience that insures that our CoQ10 will never disappoint you.  Many say that CoQ10 is the most important supplement they take, which is why we made it our Anniversary Today’s Special and the perfect way to say a sincere thank you!  Enjoy!

Our quality of life is directly related to our energy level, since energy determines our fundamental ability to engage in life.  Energy also determines the capacity of our most important organs’ to function at their best, which in turn determines how well we can function each minute of the day.  There is no single ingredient more central to the ability of each and every one of your trillions of cells to produce the energy we need than Coenzyme Q10.  So, if your energy level is not what it used to be and you find that you just have not been feeling your very best, then please tune-in tonight, Saturday at midnight for our CoQ10 Today’s Special.  It is our very best value of the year.  We will also have a Variety Show the hour before at 11 PM Eastern Time where we will cover a dozen of our most popular products, including October’s Monthly Specials:  Calcium-Magnesium Intensive Care and all-important Vitamin K2 MK7.  At midnight I will provide a more detailed discussion of the latest science and the benefits associated with CoQ10 and the reasons why those taking some of the world’s most popular medications must absolutely supplement CoQ10.  I will return at Sunday at noon and again at 8 PM.  There will only be three live airings of the Today’s Special, but you can always watch videos of earlier shows at HSN.com.  Also, ALL our products will be available at Special Anniversary Pricing and Free Shipping throughout the visit, so feel free to take advantage.  See you tonight at 11 PM.

Best of health,

Re: Andrew Lessman Oct Shedule

[ Edited ]

Hi @Nightowlz thanks so much for starting this thread!!Smiley Happy

Andrew's TS for October 8th, 2017 (today) is his 200mg COQ10 (ubiquinone COQ10). - - He is repeating last October's COQ10 TS by offering three different formula options:

* 200mg COQ10

* 200mg COQ10 with 1,000 IU Vitamin D2

* 200mg COQ10 with 2,000 IU VItamin D3

All three options are priced the same, so the best value is choosing the option with 2,000 IU Vitamin D3. - Andrew's TS  are always really great value, especially in the largest size (which is always where the very best value is).

There's more info in the Andrew Lessman Oct Schedule thread in the Wellness forum.

I've also included Andrew's on air schedule at the end of this post. -- There is a show from noon-2pm, and the final TS show is 8pm-10pm ET tonight.

Andrew's latest blogpost about today's COQ10 TS is in post #2 of this thread.

I've included two price charts below, for comparison, so that you can get a better idea of how crazy great today's TS is over his regular COQ10 price.

Note: In the first chart, which is for COQ10, I've included today's TS prices (in bold) as compared to his regular Procaps Labs prices (non-bold). -- Note that the TS sizes (50, 100, 200, 400, and 600) are different from his regularly available sizes  (30, 60, 120, 240, and 360)

Procaps Labs prices for 200mg COQ10 (ubiquinone version)

30 capsules COQ10 -- $22.90

50 capsules COQ10 -- TS -- $27.90

60 capsules COQ10 -- $39.90

100 capsules COQ10 -- TS -- $47.90

120 capsules COQ10 -- $69.90

200 capsules COQ10 -- TS -- $84.90

240 capsules COQ10 -- $119.90

360 capsules COQ10 -- $169.90

400 capsules COQ10 -- TS -- $139.90

600 capsules COQ10 -- TS -- $169.90

Procaps Labs regular prices for a separate Vitamin D3 (1,000 IU or 2,000 IU options)

60 capsules -- $10.90

120 capsules -- $27.90

360 capsules -- $44.90

720 capsules -- $69.90

All purchases today have free S&H. -- Andrew has another TS next weekend, so usually the free shipping offer extends through the week between each TS value, but I don't happen to know if that's the case this time (and it's too early in the morning to call Procaps Labs to confirm this *s*).

I have been taking Andrew's COQ10 formula for the past 10 years and I swear by it. -- It was the very first of his supplements that I bought. I had been feeling fatigued for about 8 months before I started taking his COQ10. Once I started taking, my body got it's energy back. It was amazing!

COQ10 isn't hyped up caffeine energy. It's like the gas that your car needs to go. Each of our cells is responsible for the energy in that cell and each cell has a mitochondria "power plant" that needs COQ10 to produce energy.

Andrew only uses Kaneka COQ10. Kaneka is a Japanese company but around 2006 they set up a plant in Texas, partly due to Andrew's encouragement. Andrew was the first manufacturer to import Kaneka's COQ10 to the US about 30 years ago. -- To my knowledge, the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) only use Kaneka COQ10 when they do their COQ10 studies.

Andrew always offers amazing TS values but, by far, his COQ10 TS is the very best value. These days, he's a relatively small purchaser of Kaneka COQ10, but he's their most ardent spokesperson. Almost all of the other COQ10 comes from China, and Andrew is adamant that he will only use Kaneka COQ10. -- Because of this, I think that Kaneka gives his a huge price break for each annual COQ10 special that he passes on to us. Thank you, Andrew!! Smiley Happy

As I mentioned before, the very best TS value is always is always on the largest 600 capsule supply.

Thanks for the info -- I was wondering what the upcoming TS's might be.  Don't think I need any of these though.  I still have most of my big bottle of CoQ10 but might need a smaller bottle to tide me over to next year.

I too was hoping for ChocoNuvo.  I'm sure it will have reduced pricing or be a special TS later -- I think he did one in December last year maybe?

I'm also interested in when he will have Glucosamine/Chondroitin in the new formula.  DIdn't he mention having it in a powder with a scoop?  Or something like that!

Hi @sueinsf and lol... you are absolutely right about Andrew mentioning that he was going to have the glucosamine/chondroitin in powder form really soon... I think he 's mentioned "really soon" for this in his las three broadcasts.

Over the 10 years that I've been using Andrew's products and following Andrew, I've learned that "really soon" can be really relative. His Tumeric which was complexed with phospholipids.

He came out with this more bioavailable turmeric product in February of one year. -- He mentioned that very soon they would be adding this new turmeric to his other formulas that had turmeric in them. -- I waited and waited and waited and waiting patiently for it to ba added to the Memory & Brain formula. -- And I would call in every 2-3 months to ask/remind them about what Andrew had said on air. -- About 15 months along I had an issue (no big deal) with a Procaps order and the let me speak to a supervisor who I used to chat with when I first started calling Procaps 10 years ago (he was just a CS phone rep then). -- I pointed out the huge lag and asked him if he could maybe fast track the issue to Andrew... cause maybe Andrew had fogotten about it. lol, it seems to happen. -- I was amazed and delighted to so other formulas with turmeric in it get changed in the following 2-3 months!

Basically, Andrew has so many great ideas but there's only one Andrew and I think he's something of a micro manager... which isn't a bad thing in terms of getting the very best supplements... but it means that stuff can just take longer.

There days, every time I call Procaps Labs, I ask the rep to remind Andrew about his promise to put some supplements (starting with G/C) in powder form which would (I think) significantly lower thie cost. -- @sueinsf lol I think you should also give them a call from time to time about this... you know, the squeaky oil gets the grease theory. Smiley Wink

My family is down to the bottom of out very last G/C bottle so I'll be reordering now. -- btw, you may want to check out his quantity discounts. I purchased 10 different items last time (some in 360 caps supplies and other in 30 cap supplies). The prices has already been lowered for the July visit... and I got a 20% on everything except the TS (the monthly special phytoceramides qualified for the discount). I was stunned at how much money I saved!

I don't follow the ChocoNuvo much because my total cholesterol is under 140 (clean living and great genes *s*).

I think you were right that ther was a ChocoNuvo TS around December, but I'm not sure.

I just checked the Procap Labs site, and it's on special pricing right now:

* 10 servings --$13.90

* 30 servings -- $26.90

* 60 servings -- $44.90

* 120 servings -- $79.90

* 180 servings --- $109.90

Just looking at those numbers, I think he's had better specia pricing for ChocoNuvo, but other folks probably know more about how it gets priced.

@BExplorer and @VaBelle35 I just recently started using the Phytoceramides and the Marine Collagen Peptides (MPC) with MSM about three weeks ago. I've had stunningly good results... lol, starting three days after I started using them. Smiley Happy

@BExplorer ,about a year back, @VaBelle35 had set up two great MCP threads. After I finish this post, I'm going to add more on my MCP results which will bump those two posts up. I'll send you a notification, as I promised a few days back, so you can read my full response. *s*

I'll just focus on the phytoceramides in this post.

I had been hearing about phytoceramides from one of the skin guys who have beauty shows on Evine but was sceptical about buying topical products.

Andrew frequently lets us know that many special ingredients in skin care products actually can't penetrate the skin's deeper layers and so are really not effective. -- COQ10 is a prime example. the molecule is too big to get through the skin barrier. -- I honestly don't remember Andrew saying anything about topical phytoceramides.

Normally, I just add one supplement to my regimin at a time to better be able to assess how well it is working. -- In this case the MCP had been the July TS and the phytoceramides had been the July Monthly Value, so they came in together and I really wanted to try both of them asap. -- I also felt that since they had very different functions that I would be able to assess both of the at the same time.

I think I've been able to do than and I'm super impressed by both of them!!! Smiley Happy

I'm in my very late 50s and I have amazing great skin: I've got great skin genes (lol, with the exception of my extremely porous, baby fine hair that one Chaz Dean's Wen Cleansing Conditioner does wenderful wonders with). -- I also have a super great paleo (before there wat a "paleo" term) diet.

I'll preface my next bit of info by saying that due to amazing doctors and good rehab on my part, I'm in excellent health now. Smiley Happy About five years ago, my intestines exploded. long story key features being that I had a long term hernia that was being monitored until I was literally manhandled (and twisted into a freaking pretzel) by four ER workers. Wanted to sue (and I'm not a litigious person), but was told the case wasn't clear cut enough. 24 hours later my intestines exploded. I crawled to a different hospital (which was the very best). Three surgeries later, I'm doing fine except that I lost the first third of my big intestine that absorbs water. To make sure my body absorbs enough water these days, first thing in the morning I literally guzzzle 64oz of straight water. I don't eat a morsel for the next 30-45 minutes to make sure the water gets absorbed. lol, sounds complicated, but that's life and other folks have much more on their plate. Smiley Happy

I naturally perspire 2-3 times as much as most people, so I absolutely need to make sure that I stay hydrated daily. -- All of my skin is moist with the exception of my hands and feet. With minimum attention, my hands are still pretty good most of the year (except December through February).

In contrast, the bottoms of my feet have been a nightmare to deal with. -- The first year after the surgeries, my shoe size increased from 9.5 to 10.5 and my feet got wider. I couldn't find shoes that fit anywhere (and I spent two months looking -- these days it's Voinics and Keene's for me). That first winter, the bottoms of my feet started cracking so badly that I could barely walk. There was blood all over the place. Yup, it was a nightmare.

It was only that next spring when I picked up an Emjoi callus remover on TSV that I started to understand the root of the problem. Thank goodness for my Emjoi!! -- My feet had not jumped up a size... they had "calluses" up a full size. I literally spent an hour a day with my Emjoi, for three months, to remove all of the dead skin. lol, it wasn't until about 2.5 months in that I finally connected all the dots. -- These days, I proabably do two 30-45 minute sessions weekly with my Emjoi to keep the bottoms of my feet smooth.

So, this is a very long way of saying that my feet really need these phytoceramides (a medical necessity!).

I got back from a much needed vacation (really resting in the countryside close to the beach) about a week ago. I wasn't emjoying as much as I should have been (salt water dries out my feet). But I had been taking my MCP and phytoceramides and the feet cracking was definately less than it should have been. I've also noticed that the parts of the bottom of my feet that are less prone to actual calluses feel noticably smoother. Yay!!

My hands (which had also been in sea water) are doing quite well!! I credit the phytoceramides for all these great results!!

@VaBelle35 like you I bought the 240 cpas of phytoceramides when it was on special in July... and I've been horrified at the idea that I won't have enough to get me through (at a great value) until Andrew's likely next  ery special offer in July 2018. -- And like you, I've been thinking that maybe I should be taking 2 caps per day .hanks for sharing that you could tell the difference with 2 caps per day.

Since there's a bit of a special offer on his phytoceramides right now, I'm definately purchasing a second 240 caps bottle... and I might even spring for two bottles (I really need them!).

@VaBelle35 btw, how do you think that CeraVe compares with Chaz's Nourishing Body Treatment (20oz Wen NBT for $59 right now)? -- My sister who has dry skin swears by CeraVe. She loved the NBT, but not the price tag. -- I have very oily skin and find that CeraVe doesn't absorb nearly as well as Chaz's NBT or Chaz's Treatment Oils. I have the feeling that my oily skin just doesn't work well with CeraVe.

Wow @bebe777 thank you for such a detailed post!  I noticed the same thing with my feet due to phytoceramides.  After taking them for maybe a month, much less skin was coming off when using my Emjoi weekly.  My feet and lips are the places I first noticed a huge difference.  My skin also feels softer.  😊

I use CeraVe for my body mosituozer.  Before I have only stuck with a particular lotion due to the scent (in place of perfume).  To me the CeraVe is definitely thicker than the NBT, yet still spreads and absorbs easily. It has been so long since I used NBT that I can't say which is better for long-term moisturization--sorry.  I am very happy with CeraVe, though, and have no plans to search for something else.  The NBT is just too expensive for me.

Sounds like you gad a rough go of it for a while, but that you kept going until you found solutions. 👍
