I decided to try this and ordered what I thought were capsules. Got an email from HSN saying it was their mistake in the description and it should have been noted that the 900 was powdered form. I don't mind but wondered what is the best way to use this. On the bottle it is vague and just says mix with beverage-does not specify hot or cold, water or something else. What do you do if you use this product? Too much trouble to send back to exchange...

I went to the pro caps website and looked at the label:

“Neither glucosamine sulfate nor chondroitin sulfate are readily water-soluble, so this product is not intended to be added to water, but instead, to smoothies, yogurt, oatmeal, applesauce, etc.”

Comments also said does not mix well with water and most added to a smoothie/protein drink both to get it to mix and also to mask the taste. Several comments also that they felt better after using regularly.

@bargainsgirl I have never used the powder form. There is an 800 number on the bottle to call ProCaps Lab. They are very helpful. I would call the number if I were you.

Since they made the error and described it as something that it wasn't, they need to make it right and send you the capsules. That just the way I feel about it!

I'd return it and ask them to pay for the return label.

I use the powder form of that every day in a protein shake. I just mix a scoop with the rest of the things and give it a shake.

@bargainsgirl This also happened to me so I returned the powder no cost to me, and bought the capsules which I have been taking for many years.
