@Laura14 I take the 74% and love it (too much!). I have tried the 91% and it was too bitter for me, but that might stop you from taking too much. ![]()
I have also tried the 66%, but it was too much like regular milk chocolate (which was his aim, even though it is 66% DARK chocolate).
What percentage chocolate do you like to eat now? I would suggest you go with the one that is closest to what you like when you might have a candy bar.
When I first tried his ChocoNuvo, I ordered the small bottle of each of the three to be able to judge them properly. And just like with Goldilocks, the middle one was the winner.....74%. LOL!!!! It's not the most economical way to try it, but it was what worked best for me before purchasing the larger, more economical container sizes.

That's what I have in the cart. A 10 bite trial pack. I actually got an 85% brand from the store to see if I could stomach it and it went down REAL easy with peanut butter. LOL That's why I am thinking the 91% might be a safer bet. Thanks!

@Laura14 I will be eager to hear your feedback. ![]()
I tried some of the Godiva (or some other very expensive chocolate) in the 90+ range and did not like it. And to be truthful, it took me a little while to get used to the 74%; not a lot of time, just a few days. Now I wouldn't think of going to the 66%, even though it tastes really good.
Do you take CholestaCare or use his Oatmeal with CholestaCare? If so, his support team told me that 1 capsule = 1 ChocoNuvo; and 2 capsules = 1 serving of his oatmeal. So you can interchange them. Since I have his oatmeal every morning, I don't follow it with any capsules or ChocoNuvo. But at lunch I take one ChocoNuvo afterwards (two if it is a particularly fatty lunch); same with dinner.

My cholesterol is always really good. I eat very dark chocolate every day. I like 92% cacao, but sometimes have to get the 86%. I eat one and occasionally two squares a day. I usually buy Ghiradelli chocolate, but I do buy some Fairtrade bars from the Cocoa Program when I can find them on sale.
I have tried Andrews chocolate, but it tasts too good. I tend to eat the whole container in a day or two. I can't let it alone.
i read an article in a medical paper at the doctor's office that said chocolate...any kind, milk or dark is good for heart health and we should plan on eating some everyday.
I think I have eaten chocolate in some form every day of my life since I was a child..even before If was considered a health food.

@World Traveler I don't. I have always used red yeast rice with CoQ10 to keep my cholesterol in check. It's genetic so I am not sure plant sterols would help me with that. I think I really need the pseudo-statin.
I'll look into it though and see how much that is. As much as I love AL, it's getting to be way expensive with all the things I take. I keep telling myself better upfront money than the alternative.
I am hoping his prices go on special like they do when he shows up to HSN in a couple weeks. If not, I will just go ahead and order what I need.

@Carmie
I can identify with that!
I too have eaten chocolate for as long as I can remember. I wish chocolate ice cream did as much good, but I doubt that falls under the category of "good for you" chocolate. ha!
Ghiradelli is really good too.

@Laura14 Getting the specials is the best way to go.
One of my coworkers purchased the 180-count of ChocoNuvo a couple of weeks ago. She paid $129. On the day of his special I got the 300-count of ChocoNuvo for the same price.....$129! Actually, I got four of those containers, so I would have enough for a full year, not only for me but for my friends. It truly is the best way to introduce friends and family to the Lessman products. I hand them out freely.
It pays to plan ahead for his specials. That is why I set up the thread on his TS's for the year, month by month, so we can all squirrel away that money and time it for when he has those awesome deals!
Looking forward to the 24th of this month, as I need to get some more of the Essential 1, which will be the TS. Don't think I need the other TS.....Vitamin K; but I want to hear what he has to say about it.

I take his MK-7 with my Vitamin D. I think it is fantastic if you are taking a Vitamin D supplement. If not, it's one you can probably skip.
Thank you for doing the postings on TS. Very helpful!

I love milk chocolate and have never been a fan of dark chocolate. I would eat it as a last resort. I purchased one of Andrews TS's that included a sample of Choco Nuvo and I was hooked! Long story short, I now have the 74% and 91% on auto delivery from his website because not only are my cholesterol numbers now excellent (I'm 52), but instead of eating an entire bag of Hershey Kisses, I eat a couple squares of Choco Nuvo and I'm completely satisfied. As others have said, I told my doctor about this and he wrote it down to recommend it to his patience who struggle with lowering their cholesterol. I also use Andrew's Oatmeal and Oatbran, but the ChocoNuvo is the one constant, no matter what!
I also want to add, which is slightly off topic,I was looking at Calcium on the HSN site and saw this:
Ultimate Calcium-Magnesium Intensive Care w/ Vitamins D3 & K2 MK-7 100 : Upcoming Todays Special Feb 24 Come Back Feb 22 to Shop the Presale
So I guess the upcoming TS isn't just Vitamin K2,it's a combo of calcium, D3, K2, etc.

@LoveMuscleCars Awesome report! I started to read your post and thought I would suggest the 66%, which most people do if they don't like dark chocolate, but was pleasantly surprised that you like the 74 and 91! YAAAY!
Also, awesome news about your numbers and your doctor. My doctor recommends it to any patient who wants to get off statins. Some, believe it or not, don't care if they are on statins. Hmmmm..... Anyway, he asks if they would like to try an alternative way to decrease their numbers or continue with the statin. If they want the alternative way, then he gives them the information on ChocoNuvo, but is sure to tell them that the insurance will not cover it.
Thanks much about the presale information on the 22nd. Good to know! But the TS also includes the Essential 1, according to information from his company. That better have not changed because I am low on Essential 1! ha!
