@patbz wrote:I just checked and new 10.1" tablet will be on sale but so far nothing about 8" ( which I need for a grand).
The 8" Fire Tablets were just on sale at HSN for $59.99 with a Caseable case. HSN also had sent me a $10 off coupon on anything so I combined the two and got it for $49.99 ($53.30 after taxes.) The price at HSN is back up to their normal $119.99 now.
You're apt to see it on sale without a case for $49.99 on Prime Day. Amazon's sale prices vary rather wildly, but $49.99-$69.99 tend to be their sale prices for the 8" Fire tablets. That's down from their normal $89.99. The Caseable case hasn't come yet but has been shipped. (God help me, it's coming through UPS Mail Innovations. That means it'll spend several days in nearby Bridgeport before arriving.) I've got the tablet though and it's very nice.

I would never mess with the caseable case; once I ordered a Fire deal on either QVC or HSN and didn't bother to redeem it. On Amazon there many (not Amazon branded) cases in all price ranges and I just order one of those ( mine are never over $14). I've been buying Fires in all sizes since the beginning (approaching 20 for me and Grands). My favorite size is 8" as its light, fast and can slip it in my purse so I can read a book when I'm in waiting rooms.

Yeah, the Caseable case was included but it wasn't a deal maker or breaker for me. Since I had the free coupon I redeemed it and the case is reportedly printed, shipped, and on its way. I'll see how it is when it gets here, but for free, I'll give it a shot.

I'm currently shopping for a treadmill on Amazon. I need one that folds so it takes up less space. Did you ever get yours? If you're happy with it, do you mind sharing which one you bought?

I brought a HD 10 plus 64GB tablet with and an Amazon case for $219. I was able to get a CC Prime deal and use rewards points.
I buy a Moko case with a Fire tablet not this time. A few reviewers said the case was too small, and the estimated delivery was June 29-July 8. My new tablet will come Tuesday June 15th.

I bought the xterra tr150. when i bought in jan. it was $50.00 more than today. I'm prime member and i got 5 monthly pmts. i like the treadmill, but i'm just a walker, not runner. it is heavy, we took it downstairs in pieces and put together there. hubs assembled in about 30 mins. i like because it's quiet and not too fancy. The guy that cuts my hair also bought one and is happy.

That's one of the treadmills I'm considering, so it's a big help to know that you like yours (and your hairdresser, too). I don't need a lot of bells and whistles, either - just that it folds and has a place to put my ipad while I'm walking.
My only concern is that the walking surface is only 16" wide. I was used to a wider belt on the treadmills at the gym that I went to for the past 18 years or so. Since I read on my Ipad while I walk, and don't hold on, I'm afraid that I might step off the narrower belt and fall. So I've also looked at treadmills with 20" belts, but of course they come with all of those other features I don't need, and cost more as well. It's a hard decision, so I really appreciate your reply!

I have 2 treadmills, 1 of which I bought in 1984, and it has over 20,000 miles on it. It's belt is only 14" wide, and I trained on it for running Road Races from a 1 mile race and every distance in between, up to and including a full marathon(26.2 miles).
My newer one has a longer and wider belt(60"X18") and I have never used it for running. Just a little of my background on Treadmill running.
Have I gotten hurt will running on one? Yes, slipped and flew off the the end, but. I had my Treadmill with plenty of distance away from hitting a wall or furniture. Had a few bruises. Hit my head on a handrail, which I never used, but in the '80's, the electronics were placed on the handrails.
One thing I never did was try to read anything while on any of my many powered machines. People have gotten seriously injured on treadmills, a few have even died. Why? I don't know about that, but I do know they did not die from a stroke or a heart attack.
If one wants to "multi-task" while driving or using any powered machine, especially those over 50?

I appreciate your comments - always enjoy reading your posts, even when we don't agree.
I don't run on a treadmill, just walk. For the past 20 years I have walked on a treadmill at a gym, with a book and then an iPad on the little shelf in front of me. There was also a bank of tv screens set up in front of the treadmills, so most others were looking up at the TVs as they walked or ran. I'm very careful because I have a total knee replacement that could be damaged in a fall.
The only fall I witnessed in 20 years was a young woman at the end of the row of treadmills who was out of range of the tv screens and wasn't reading either. Not sure what caused her fall.
We all choose our risks and you would never find me on skates. For my part, I'll minimize my risk by finding a treadmill with a wide enough belt. But I sincerely appreciate your comments.😊

You could probably have ours since we don't use it. DH said he would use it if he could bring it back in the house but that's not happening because I know he won't use it.
It's boring walking on a treadmill. I like using my pilates chair & walking. We have a Bowflex DH uses. Guess I should start using it again. It takes up a lot of space so I would like to get rid of it.
