It was my understanding that one took Airborne, like Emergen-C and other similar products, to boost your immune system so you wouldn’t get sick. A once-a-day thing. I routinely do this most years from now until New Year’s just because no one wants to be sick during the holidays, possibly infecting frends and family. But I happened to look on the package and noted that it said “up to three times a day,” which sounds more like a Zicam-type thing - while you’re “blooming” with the cold. I never paid attention before, and usually take Emergen-C.

Those who take any of these similar products, do you take it once a day or more than once a day? I guess if I came down with something I might take it 2X a day IF I thought it would actually help, but I’d never think of more than once a day if I wasn’t sick.

Hi, Moonchilde.  My family and I take Airborne only when we feel we are exposed to visibly sick people in our daily lives.  We take it once per day in that circumstance, until we no longer are exposed to overtly sick people.  When we actually become ill with a cold, we take Airborne 3x per day as recommended.  We do not take Airborne every day, however. Just as needed.

Thanks, @Jersey Born. That’s pretty much what I do. If I should get sick (knock wood) I’ll take it more often. At this time of year I just feel like why the heck not with the extra immunity boost; couldn’t hurt, as they say. And I think it tastes better than Emergen-C.

I take Andrew Lessman's Immune Factors (I used to take Airborne before I switched to this).  I take it almost every day.  I don't take it if I don't plan to leave the house.

If I go to work, the gym or shopping, I need my Immune Factors.

I remember the first time I took Airborne (didn't take it with water; I don't recommend that!).

I took Airborne in the past in much the same way that I now use Emergen-c.  I take it once a day when traveling or spending time with other people who I know are sick. (prevention)

If I feel symptoms coming on, I go to two or three times a day.  (Treatment)

@september I took it a couple of hours before bedtime a few days ago and was entirely too peppy when it was time for lights-out. All those vitamins! (As if I don’t take enough supplements already.)

@Moonchilde

Oh, that Airborne. Wasn’t paying attention to category.

I saw Airborne, thought of Airborne as in 101st or 82nd!   Woman Wink
