@MissBonBon Having or not having a mamogram does not decrease or increase your chances of GETTING breast cancer. It only detects cancers.
Not all types of breast cancers are detected on mammograms either. After faithfully getting mammograms for many years, I was diagnosed with breast cancer that never showed on a mammogram. That was when I was told not all types are seen on mammograms.
