I just had a CT scan a week ago.  Had to drink the white barium.  I was dreading it, but it wasn't bad at all.  I kept it in the refrigerator for a day.  I was so surprised that it tasted OK... no problem!  💖

Do not worry
I’ve had a lot of scans with contrast
It’s a small dispenser like the kind in cough medicine
Generally it’s a white liquid like milk of magnesia and it tastes like mint
No big deal

No taste no gagging and it comes out in your urine

In the past I had it in an iv but they don’t do that anymore

I've had quite a few and the drink isn't horrible like it used to be.

My flavors varied. I thank I had blueberr or blackberry  last time, picked it up a day before and drank.

 

The taste is getting so much better thats for sure.  Good luck, it's so simple.  Waiting is the worst in my opinon of course.
