I have used AL's HSHN for many years.
The proof that it worked well for me was when it helped both of my big toenails grow out a normal, non-thickened nail. One of them was damaged when a very heavy black laboratory table fell on my toe and I had to go to the urgent care center and have it drilled so the blood would not accumulate. The other big toenail bed was damaged from the repetitive use of a shovel that rubbed up against my big toe nail (even through my tennis shoes). Both of my nails were gone and I had to grow out new ones.
I had to have my nail tech build up fake toenails before a beach vacation so I din't look like a weirdo! I had doubts that the HSHN was working before these events, but this was a huge problem solver.
My big toenails are healthy, clear, and not thick at all!

I do use the Hair, Skin and Nails. To be honest I am not sure if does a thing. My hair is still fine and thin. But I still have hair. My nails still break on occasion but they are looking good. But I guess that it can't hurt. Not sure if it is better tan anything else on the market.
NOW - may I ask - why are you buying the ChocoNuvo? Has it helped you? Helped your cholesterol?
LOL! Actually, I'm not sure, but it's become a habit.
I am overdue to stop by and get some blood drawn from my last physical, so I'll be anxious to see where my numbers are. Nevertheless, based on others' positive results, I figured I better get a supply while it's a TS ... a very good price, IMO.

@castlenv wrote:Personally, unless tests have shown there is a vitamin defiiciency, I would hesitate to willy nilly take all these supplements. Colleen Lopez, if you can believe her, seems to take many of AL products. I would not follow her exampe.
I understand your point, but I'm not a "willy nilly" vitamin taker.
I don't think most of us are eating so perfectly that they get every single vitamin and trace mineral ..... every single day ..... in their diets. I think it depends on how well you know your own body.
I eat well, but I'm not perfect. Since I get blood drawn every month by my Rheumatologist, I have the previous month's results and know where I stand on some, but not all, of my levels.
I do need to get blood drawn for my PCP to check my cholesterol, but haven't had it done yet. One thing at a time, lol.

I use his HS&Ns. It has other vitamins in it in meaningful amounts. My hair and nails grow fast and strong. My skin is healthy and strong- doesn't tear or roll up and cuts heal quickly.
The only other vitamin I take is D3, directed by my doc, because of crazy low levels when I had bloodwork. (8.something)

I ordered his CoQ10 capsules and took them daily for a year. I didn't pay much attention until I realized something was different. Nothing had changed in my eating and exercise, social activities, family, etc. It was nothing drastic, but I had more energy.
After finishing the bottle, after two or three months I noticed I was feeling tired which was unusual for me. I think taking the CoQ10 had made a difference. Didn't reorder AL's but started taking a tablet form. I think his capsules are easier to swallow, work better and are worth the extra expense.

The key ingredient to hhs&n is the biotin. I took his for years very faithfully. My hair grows very fast BUT continues to get thinner and thinner and comes out every single day at the slightest provocation. I decided not to spend all that many on that product any more . I now believe hair is a matter of genetics and hormones. I do take biotin every day (another brand) because it has definitely helped my nails.

Healthy Hair Skin and Nails did absolutely nothing for me. I gave it more than a year. Waste of money.

@jpie Ouch. I was cringing reading what you’ve been through. How great that your toenails are healthy now. : )

@kaydee50, I have heard Colleen in the past say she takes some exorbitant amount of AL vitamins a day. I want to think it was over 70. That is mind boggling.
I find it a little hypocritical that one of Andrew's TS products was for your liver because of what we do to our liver like alcohol consumption and medications. All his vitamins some people are taking would be very taxing on the liver as well. So he wants people to buy and use all these vitamins and then he sells a vitamin to detoxify the liver because one is taking a ton of vitamins.
I had one little thought about ordering the ChocoNuvo TS but then I got ahold of myself. I was thinking I could just imagine someone asking me how much I paid for chocolate and telling them it was in excess of $110.00. No way could I justify that cost.
