I didn’t buy anything this visit. If the coupon had worked on sale prices I would have probably bought something.

I haven't tried his stuff. We get vitamins from my husbands Dr. They also can be purchased on the net

My husband's Dr has a brother who is a surgeon ,and he sells the kind his brother uses. He says on days his brother operates ,he takes extra vitamins

They are called pure encapsulations. They don't upset my stomach.  I have only been using them a short while, but I do think they are helping me.

My husband and I have been taking his supplements for years and will continue as long as we can afford them. I placed an order last weekend and it was hundreds of dollars for the vitamins and minerals we take. We both have age related medical issues, but feel like the vitamins help and keep us going.

@Tinkrbl44

I cannot take Biotin.

AL products are easy on my stomach.

The Marine Collagen Peptides gives me noticibly strong fingernails and better hair; what it does for my skin overnight is REMARKABLE.

AL Oxy-Energizer (potassium-magnesium-aspartate*

blend) IMMEDIATELY brings me energy. This preparation was only available through Procaps until recently.

@cherry  Is this an OTC brand?  Specific vitamines or a one-a-day thing?  Enquiring minds want to know!  LOL!!!

@Sooner  they sell them on the net. I haven't seen them in any drug stores. You might be able to get them at a vitamin shop

They are endorsed by all sort of places, such as Stanford Uni, and Mi State Uni

I am certain they are high potency and very fresh. I haven't had any stomach problems taking them, and at present everything upset my digestive system

@LTT1 Interesting that you saw immediate results with the MCP.  Would you elaborate on what the specific results were?  I have gone through two of the largest tubs and didn't notice any changes.  Smiley Frustrated

I do use some Lessman products, and find that they do not upset my stomach. I also buy Life from Extension; order from the Vitacost website, and from time to time stop in a my local Vitamin Shoppe. For by hair and skin, I am taking Lessman HSN, as well as the Marine Collagen Peptides noted above. I get my phytoceramides from Life Extension. None of this is a magic bullet or fountain of youth, but it helps give my hair and skin the support it needs. You can get quality products from other sources, but you really have to be a smart shopper, use trusted sources, and compare ingredients. I am not using one, but I have heard that the (light - not sure of its name) has helped certain people with hair loss. What works for me, will not necessarily work for others. Our family uses the Cholestacare, not the chocolate, and it does help keep DH's numbers down.

I have taken AL vitamins for many years.  I definitely don't buy everything he sells.  That's ridiculous.  I have read numerous articles in the last couple of years downplaying the benefit of some of these supplements, and recently saw in a magazine put out by the Mayo Clinic that the cost of a supplement doesn't make it better than a less expensive one.  I tend to believe that since I have experimented with that.  One year I started taking JuiceFestiv by Natrol I purchased at Sam's, and my cholesterol results were the best ever.  I know it was that supplement because I had not changed anything else.  Now, the only vitamins I continue to purchase from AL is the Essential multivitamin and the CO-Q10, which I'm about to switch out.  This is such a personal decision, but I think it's important for you to feel comfortable with what you take.  Of course, the most important is what foods you eat.
