I just came across an article on resolutions for sleep apnea.

Most of you know about CPAPs or even dental appliances.  But new to me was that learning to play the didgeridoo instrument might be helpful in alleviating sleep apnea.

The instrument helps strengthens the muscles of the throat, making them less apt to close during sleep.

One simple reason they say it works is that it's fun, making folks comply with learning the instrument more than they do with use of CPAPs or dental devices.

Here's just one source for more information.  Be sure to change the word "dot" to an actual period when you paste this into your browser.

I can not believe it! I just happen to have a dideridoo somewhere in the garage. Now to find it. Shouldn't be hard to find. I think it is 5 feet long.

Had no idea what this instrument looked like or sounded like...went to youtube and they have demo's of the basics....LOL I don't think I could get into it!  Sorta like make the motor boat sound with your lips/mouth then into the tube/didgeridoo....a little like the horn the Vikings used long ago.

Bet that might give you lots of those deep crease lines around your mouth over time too.

"Play me didgeridoo blue-play me didgeridoo"

"And tie me kangaroo down sport tie me kangeroo down."

Sorry but that is the first thing that came into my mind.
