I have begun to get what I think is "senile purpura" on my forearms. Sudden appearance of purple and red flat spots and close to the surface "bruises" that do not result from injury and do not hurt when pressure is applied. They used to be small dots, now they are getting larger and larger and the last few have come in a cluster over a few days. They take weeks to disappear, but leave light brown stains.
I Googled it and it seems that's what they are. There is no cure and no treatment either, other than to cover them with makeup because they are unsightly. They are benign.
Anyone else dealing with this?
