Yea, while there is new news that quite possibly this covid -19 pandemic could have been avoided and there would not have been millions world wide who died .
Has anyone thought abt how quickly this vaccine was produced. Has anyone thought of the millions of dollars that the pharmaceutical companies have made off these vaccines ???

@Porcelain Your statistics do not annoy me, however I don't put a lot of faith in statistics because there are so many versions especially on this topic.
A discussion doesn't rely on positivity. It requires different views. If all is positive or negative, I don't believe this could be called a real discussion.
Differing views are appreciated here I believe, as long as they are polite and respectful.

Can't believe the bribe tactics being used. Like forgiving traffic ticket violations to get the vaccine.

This isn't a political or religious issue, it is a health issue and I have said that before. I am grateful for the vaccine and I hope more and more people will be vaccinated. Good health to all!

CNN and ABC News are reporting these numbers. If you don't like those sources pr the CDC, that's fine. Let's not go down that obvious and well worn rabbit hole. I am sure you are happy with your own sources whatever they are. Keep in mind this is for all adults and it's for at least one shot.
Additionally, from June 2nd:
"Nationwide, more than 162 million Americans over the age of 18, roughly 62.9% of the total adult population, have one vaccine dose, according to the CDC. More than 133 million American adults, roughly 52% of the entire adult population, are fully vaccinated, the CDC data showed."
Also:
"More states and territories are on the way to crossing this mark, including New York, 68.1%; Virginia, 67.5%; Washington state, 69.5%; and Washington D.C, 68.4%., the CDC data showed."

And then there's Alabama at 27% and Georgia at 33%.

I'd rather believe my state's Health Department which puts those with one does or more at 55%, with interest in the vaccine declining.

@chessylady wrote:The chart I just pulled up showed 58 % in California have received one shot and 44% have been fully vaccinated. The date was yesterday. I live in California.
@chessylady Those are close to the numbers I was seeing too (I saw 45.1% totally vaccinated). Although SF's numbers are higher: 79% of San Franciscans 12 and older have received at least one dose, according to the latest county health data. 68% of San Franciscans 12 and older are fully vaccinated.

I took a survey on my Face Book page. Responses by 53 people. Only 3 people got the Vaccine and evryone else said they will never get it.
