13 States Already at 70% Vaccinated with at least one shot!

Well before the July 1st deadline, 13 states have already met the national goal of 70% of adults with at least one vaccination shot. We are doing great overall!

Pennsylvania
Rhode Island
Vermont
Washington

New York is getting close, with 68%. I hope they have a really fun and festive Fourth of July. So great that the rest of the world is looking at us as a major success story.

Yea!!!! That is GREAT news!!!!

And yes, we KNOW that Covid isn't over, and that the vaccines aren't 100% effective, and there are breakout strains, and people are still getting sick and dying.

Blah, blah, blah.

Whatever.

Let's just celebrate this bit of GOOD news, shall we, without the usual Debbie Downer's trying to rain on the parade.

That's 13 out of 50. More than 13 are not even close to 50%. I think it will be quite a while before the country hits that 70% mark.

Not yet. They are going by total population. Inslee goes by those eligeblie for the vaccine so for now WA is about at 64% and climbing....

The chart I just pulled up showed 58 % in California have received one shot and 44% have been fully vaccinated. The date was yesterday. I live in California.

I'm happy for all the people who have gotten vaccinated. We now know two people on ventilators with covid. I'm so happy to be fully vaccinated, I can't even express it.
