The CDC denotes 100.4°F  as the fever that might indicate COVID-19. Can be higher. Note that there are cases with lower fevers or no fever at all. See my other post from today with a chart about this.

If someone has a temperature that high they should have already gotten medical attention from real medical professionals instead of a forum.

 

However maybe it explains some of the hysteria and nonfactual posts.

Thanks for posting this, it helps to have a guideline. I hate having a fever! When my husband gets sick it seems like he always runs a high fever but it's never been that high (that I remember) - though thinking back one time he was so hot that he fogged up the passenger window sitting beside it on our way to the doctor!

 

(Oops my reply was before the post was edited from 104.5 to 100.4 lol. I'm sure he's been over 100.4 a couple times)

Dr Fauci has stated that in the elderly, a temperature as low as 98.6 can indicate covid-19, along with other symptoms.
