My daly email from Eating Well dot com included an article:
10 Foods That Women Should Eat Every Week.
Avocado
Beans
Blueberries
Brussels Sprouts
Eggs
Leafy Greens
Nuts
Oatmeal
Sweet Potatoes
Yogurt
Weird thing - other than blueberries and yogurt - I eat all that stuff regularly! My body rebels when I eat blueberries or yogurt.
Check out their website - great articles and good recipes.

I'm missing my leafy greens lately. I will only eat them cooked and I'm having trouble deciding which ones I'd like to eat cooked or cooked and then blended into my smoothie. I'm not eating Brussels sprouts either. I choose different cruciferous veggies; cauliflour, broccoli, cabbage, bok choy. By the way, EVERY woman should not eat Brussels sprouts often. Some women with thyroid problems need to avoid the goitrogens in Brussel sprouts. Goitrogens interrupt the production of thyroid hormones by interfering with the uptake of iodine in the body.

I just went to the Eating Well site and I like the recipes there. Some good ideas for vegetable dishes.

@ALRATIBA Not true. I hate sweeping generalizations by anyone, excluding so-called "experts."
Due to my medical situation and history if I ate certain things on that list it would be almost dangerous for ME.
I don't take this kind of advice from anyone except my PCP, my gastro doc and my oncologist.

I ain't doin brussel sprouts and yogurt. Not sure which is the most nastiest. The remaining I do daily or pretty close to it. Love them.

❤️ everything on the list and do eat (at least) once a week. Excellent delicious foods. I love sautéed or grilled Brussels sprouts but gut can't tolerate, so my loss for sure.

I'm surprised they didn't include mushrooms.
But I will check out their website. Thanks for this

I only eat 4 of the 10. Should I be worried--LOL????

Avocado and brussel sprouts are not coming into my kitchen. I eat plenty of the other 8 items. Seems like a sensible list to me.
