I have an almost full gallon of 613 cc that was magic on my hair the first several uses, then started to dry my hair out. I have read it's prob the protein. Ugh, the last time I order a gallon after using something only a few times. Anyways, besides shaving cream, does anyone have suggestions for how to use it up?

@elrager, Dear OP! Do NOT get discouraged with 613 CC at all!

Just give your hair some rest from it, and then start using it again, but this time without over doing it, rather incorporating and mixing it in with your other CC cleanings.

You'll see - your hair will be fine! Just go slow initially after couple weeks off 613, start adding couple of pumps into something else.

Of course - you can cleanse your body and shave your legs with it too! I would not do laundry with it - it's too expensive, but it's up to you!

@CalMom, lol, I remember that one. I think that it was offered as an ODO either last June or June 2014.

It was a crazy good value, and it's really a shame that it hasn't bee offered since then because it's gives people a great opportunity to finally try the 32oz. Nourishing Body Lotion (NBL)... which now is only available at QVC for $40 (the 32oz NBL size used to sell for about $72 at QVC, but they stopped carrying the large size).

@CalMom, I was amazed that Chaz offered that value the first time because these three products all contain expensive ingredients... so it's difficult to ever offer them in a special value kit.

I'd love to see this kit offered again... but I doubt that's going to happen any time soon. Smiley Sad

@sonechko - What I bolded is not necessarity true...I gave my hair a good long break from 613, then just mixed a pump or two in. That worked for a few weeks, but even that became too much. I can no longer use 613 CC on my hair at all. Still love using it to wash my face, though!

Making an absolute statement "You'll see - your hair will be fine!" is a little misleading, as we have no way of knowing for sure that it will work for her.

@vermint I agree. I had similar results with 613. At first I could use it pretty often but at this point I can't even mix it with something else without getting dry, crispy hair. It's going to take me a very long time to finish my last 16 oz. bottle.

@vermint I am very sorry 613 does not work for your hair at all.....

Also I am sorry, you took my simple words of support, as an absolute and misleading statement. I did not mean it this way at all.

Only tried to be comforting to the OP, so she'd not get discouraged too quickly, and MAY TRY 613 later in small dozes......

And yes, you absolutely correct - we have no way of knowing FOR SURE that it will work for her.

But, we do not know for sure if it won't work for her either.  She said, 613 cc "was magic" on her hair the first several uses, obviously - there was no complete aversion to 613 in OP's chemistry.

Coming back to mixing in little 613 worked for me..... I only was trying to give OP some encouragement to maybe try again, never meant for my words to be read as "absolute" opinionated statements.

I apologize @vermint, but that's all there was - simple words of encouragement.   How it might come out to you because of your own experience with 613, oh I don't know.... sometimes we see and hear totally different things.  I get a little upset, when completely misunderstood. I am not a master of words, also English is my second language I never even went to school to learn.

I can only feel for the OP and how disappointed she may be with this 613 Gallon fiasco.......

@sonecheko I understand (and should have said in my post) that you were trying to be encouraging and supportive. I am just a bit concerned with the "absolute" statements, because a new Wenner might get very frustrated and just quit, if everyone keeps telling her "don't worry, it'll be fine"...because it isn't always fine.

I'm sorry...still friends, I hope?

Woman Happy Oh @vermint, I was just thinking THAT about you - gracious! But it does come to mind with your remark, that without Grace there CAN NOT be ANY decent communication among people!

There can be misunderstandings and disagreements, of course, but without being GRACIOUS and respectful of one another, any of them can quickly turn into MEANNESS, like unfortunately can take place even on our Forum lately.

We, as a group of totally different people, are bonded together here only through our love for WEN. And this alone could be enough for this Forum to be a safe place for friends of WEN to gather and talk, and therefore - simply be friends here! Heart
