Re: Winter White Forest - I tried mine this morning

Received my Winter White Forest candle today and when I took the top of the box off, it smelled yummy. Glad I got it on auto-delivery.

Eager to start burning it, but have to finish up two of the blessing candles I have going.

@Tissyanne

My WVM UNIBT is dated 2017 (can’t read the month of manufacture).  All of my jars (and I have and have had many) are kind of a light pink color.  They’ve never been pure white.  The product remains the same color until I’ve used it up.  Sometimes if I take longer than usual to use the entire jar, the scent will fade a little by the time I get to the last of the product, but that’s the only change I’ve ever experienced.

The WVM Remoist I have is a slight vanilla shade, not pure white.

@geezerette, Thank you for your information. I bought mine last year, and it is now a milk chocolate color. It still smells good, but I don't like the way it has changed colors.

@riley1 LOL!!!

Well, maybe I will do just that! Tomorrow is going to be a lazy day for me, so at your suggestion (as if it takes much coaxing for me to do this!), I will burn the White Forest and do some reading. Heart

Re: Winter White Forest - I tried mine this morning

@cosmic1  I really love the new WWF.  I shied away from ordering the TSV set and just ordered a 32 oz CC but the next day went and ordered it anyway.  I mean really - I spent $58 for one 32 oz instead of $79.90 on three!  And then I had to have the three coordinating styling cremes, right?  My daughter thought I lost my mind and I do lose it a bit with WEN.

I agree that is much warmer than the other winter mint formulas. I love spearmint so it was meant for me.  *Sigh*

@riley1 I have the Winter White Forest burning now. Oh, the scent is so wonderful in my bedroom. I started it about an hour ago.

Thanks for prompting me to set aside my Blessing candles. It was well worth it!

Re: Winter White Forest - I tried mine this morning

Hi Cosmic1, I'm sorry if I didn't answer right away!  Anyway, The new winter scent is very minty, especially the top notes.  It dries down to what reminds me of a winter's day, if you will.  I noticed that the new winter one, the NBT, has a slight tinge of rouge in color.  I guess that's neither here nor there.  The Winter Vanilla Mint to me may as well have been called "Chocolate Mint".  I actually like the Winter Vanilla Mint better.  I do like the new one though.  I'm a mint lover so I like them both but I feel the new one, the mint kind of over powers a bit too much.  I'm actually talking about the NBTs because these keep the scent on you way more than the CCs do.  The CCs kind of fade after the hair is dry.  I actually went back and got another Chocolate Mint NBT because my last one is running out.  The new winter scent gives you that fresh, crisp, it's a chilly day scent after the mint dries down.  I wish I could be more specific.  I guess my bonk is just off kilter.  LOL! XO

Re: Winter White Forest - I tried mine this morning

@77yangya  You crack me up.  :-)  All I could smell was the spearmint all day for the most part when my hair was dry.  It was less aggressive though.

I do have to say that the stack of NBT that I now have is your fault.  LOL.  I was fine with one jar and then another and now, I find myself buying it in my favorite scents.  I am waiting on a WWC one.  I do find that I like to layer the scents, so it does make sense.  I just laugh because I was not intending to do that until you started talking the up.  Chaz should send you a commission check.
