Wen cleansing conditioner without menthal

I used WEN years ago and liked it, but I didn't tolerate the menthol that was in it very well.  Which  cleansing conditioners do not have menthol and what would you recommend?  I have fine but a lot of hair, color treated and use hair dryer, and other heated styling tools. Was thinking about getting 613

WEN for KIDS does not have menthol.  I've used the watermelon and apple!

The only ones without menthol are the three in the kids line, Kids apple, Strawberry banana and watermelon. That's it.

Re: Wen cleansing conditioner without menthal

Hi, BetsyDoodle.  What a cute name!  Chaz put menthol in because he said it helps in cleansing.  If you're gonna go for a restorative one, I'd try the 319.  I feel that one may not bother you at all.  It has all the goodness that 613 has but the scent is REALLY small.  I just notice an ever so light lemon scent but that disappears.  I feel somehow it's gentler.  Like Chaz always suggests, try to tone down hot tools.  I blow dry but on warm, not hot.  If you use curling wand or flat iron, use lower temps and keep it moving fast, don't hold it long in one place on the hair, it can burn it and cause damage.

I found the new brushes Chaz has on his site.  I'm sure he'll bring them to the Q soon but I have the one called sculpting and it works NICELY.  I just keep brushing root area as I'm drying and it makes tons of bounce and body.  It floats through my hair wet or dry.  I found too that applying mousse, styling creme and then the leave in CC is better for me.  I'm sure the other Wen girls here can help give you better insight!

I saw that on the other night and that is what made me think of trying 613.  But the 319 sounds promising, I like the idea of the lemon scent.  Thanks for all your insights, I'm really thinking of ordering it.  My salon sells a sulfate fee shampoo line call Kevin Murphy, but it is $89.00 and I would hate to pay that and be stuck with it.  At least I know I can return products from QVC.

I thought you wanted one without menthol? 613 and 319 have menthol. As do all the other CCs except for the kids line.

@77yangya was just saying that the 319 may be gentler and may not effect me as much.  Got the kids apple WEN, may try the 319 at a later date.

Re: Wen cleansing conditioner without menthal

@BetsyDoodle  You can also mix just a little 319 with the wen kids and see how that works for you

@FleaMktQn

Thanks for the tip.  If it doesn't work out I could let my husband have the 319!!
