Just have to share this:

I gave my younger sister some of my extra Wen for her birthday last month.  My baby sister then went to Sephora and bought some to try it for herself and her kids since we all had it and she didn't want to be left out.

She and her daughters, my nieces, work in movies and tv (small stuff) in and around where we live and her oldest is unfortunately the one child who got her daddy's thin barely there hair rather than the flowing thick manes we full blooded Italians all have.

She washed her hair and this daughter's with SAM and she was so happy because she gets stopped all the time for her younger daughter's hair which is more like our side of the family but never for this one until she used the Wen on her.  One wash and she had professional people complimenting her hair on set and wanting to know what she did to it.

Kind of makes me feel good that a little girl finally got compliments on something she doesn't usually get kudos for all because of a one time use of a great product.  If there's ever a kid WEN informercial, you have one willing WEN kid model with a big smile on her face ready to go.

@Laura14 That is great that she had such great results with Wen. You'd better order a whole truck full of TSVs in December now! Maybe you can convince your sister to buy you a year's supply of FAS as an early Christmas present. Cat Wink

The only newer seasonal that I haven't tried is the lilac fragrance since I didn't think I would like it.  (I don't really like floral fragrances very much although I really like SOB). If it is included in the December seasonal tsv I would probably still purchase this depending on what other seasonals are included.  Adding a fragrance free cleansing conditioner to both of the December tsv's would be great.  I imagine that this is something that I would like.

Like you, the only seasonal I haven't tried is SHL for the same reason.  I too did like SOB but SGGT was just ok in scent (wasn't a big fan of the gardenia in it) so I think I might stay away from most of the Spring Floral scents.

But I'm well stocked on cc's so I'm probably not going to be tempted by the December TSV and I'm not particularly interested in fragrance free as the different scents are a part of their appeal to me.  And if it's a rice formula fragrance free than that would make it even less appealing for me, as I think I do better with the wheat and soy formulas.

I did read on another thread that the December seasonal tsv is going to include: SHP, SCLV, SHL, FGP and WVM.  I definitely wouldn't order this since the only seasonals that I would use are SHP and SCLV.  I wouldn't like FGP and although, I have never used WVM, I also don't think I would like this.  I was hoping for some combination of FTP, SHP, WWC, SCLV, SMC, and SOB.  I probably would order the December seasonal tsv if it included most of these formulas but it doesn't seem like it will.

@Laura14, what a wonderful sister and aunt (lol, and enabler!) you are!!! Smiley Happy Thank you for sharing that great story about your niece. That's wenderful that she was getting professional compliments on the newly wenned hair!! Smiley Happy

I have baby fine hair like your niece, and all of the Seasonals work equally well on my hair. My hair is willing to "work" for any amino acd Wen CC. Smiley Wink They all give my hair the best results.

My sense it that all of the Seasonals would probably work well for your niece. And, as I think someone else already mentioned, the December 5th Wen TSV would be the most cost effective way to load up on the Seasonals. I don;t know what the TSV price will be this year but, last year, each 16oz Seasonal CC averaged out to $16 which was the best price for Wen CCs last year.

I wanted to share this with you, in advance, so you and your sister would have time for Wen budgeting. -- Also, the QVC Insider information about selected December TSVs comes out around November 15th. Generally, it includes advance order numbers for the Wen TSVs, so that you can place your orders early.

According to Wen Dooters, the Seasonals option for the TSV will include: Fall Ginger Pumpkin (FGP), Winter Vanilla Mint (WVM), Summer HOney Peach (SHP), Spring Honey Lilac (SHL) and Summer Coconut Lime Verbena (SCLV).

So make sure that you have signed up for the Insider, if you haven't already! Smiley Happy

@Laura14, I forgot to mention that someone should buy your niece some Wen Mousse (best is probably 613 or MIF... but the 613 mousse is probably the best for her hair type).

My thin, baby fine hair has no body on it's own and, until the Wen mousse, I never had found a product that gave my hair free flowing volume (i.e. so that my hair would just naturally move back and forth).

The 613 Wen mousse was a game changer. I generally only need to cleanse my hair every 3-4 days and the mousse give my hair added volume for the entire time (due to it's "smart hold" technology). Also, the 613 mousse has an added shine ingredient in it that the classic Wen mousses don't have. I think that BGT and MIF also have the added shine ingredient, but I'm not sure.

Public service announcement to the Atlanta GA trick or treating public....

Here this!  Here this!  I have decided to cleanse with FAS just before treat time tomorrow.  If you dare bring your little ones up my drive for candy, I am not responsible for their fainting spells or any subsequent medical bills due to falls or blackout spells when I open the door.   This includes yours too.  I will be the house with empty Wen bottles strewn all over the lawn because it's the most horrific thing I can think of right now.

I will also have a "SAVE FAS NOW" petition for all the treaters and their parents to sign in order to take any candy bars from my porch.  I give away full size Hershey Bars every year so it's worth your ink.

You have been warned.  I am now returning you to your regular Wen forum....

Happy Halloween, everyone!

After this year's Halloween your neighbors are going to send around flyers to warn everyone to stay away from your house. More candy for yourself! Cat Tongue
