Re: Waitlist cancelled or on backorder

@geezerette   I try to rotate through all my formulae, in hopes that I don't sensitize to the honey complex in the PPL by using it daily.  So, so far, I am not having a problem with it, since it's a smaller percentage of the total formula.  I hope I can keep using the PPL in the rotation, I'd hate to lose it.

Re: Waitlist cancelled or on backorder

@sueinsf   I'm so glad your waitlist was extended, too!  Right now nobody can even place a waitlist order, it isn't even an option, so I guess we are lucky!

I hope you keep enjoying the PPL, it is so interesting that to you the pumpkin and spices are there, and to me it's mostly coffee and nuttiness!  As long as we like what we smell, and we like the results, we can all enjoy our WEN, and that's what matters.

@CamilleP - Just used the PPL for the first time - both cleanses. I'm with you on the scent - lots of coffee, warm spices and nuttiness, no pumpkin.

I liked it better once I used it in the shower in stead of testing on my dry skin.

If I didn't know better, and had my eyes closed, I would have said this could have been a winter scent.

@riley1   I agree, the scent is much better when mixed with warm water in the shower, that really makes it "bloom".  I'm glad you are liking it, too, I think it's the first one Chaz has ever had with a coffee scent front and center, isn't it?

@CamilleP - Yes, I believe so.

Did you smell samples of the new winter Chocolate? I'm wondering how that is going to smell. I'm tempted to order.

Re: Waitlist cancelled or on backorder

I only got a peel-n-sniff sample, @riley1  so I don't know what the ingredients are.  To me it smelled intensely chocolate, and I didn't get anything else, but it's supposed to have hazelnut in it as well, and if I ever get some and use it in the shower, perhaps I'll smell the filbert in there in addition to the chocolate.  CC that smells like Nutella, what's not to love, right?

@riley1

As Chaz was describing it he mentioned that while he has always loved the smell of coffee brewing, he can't drink it.  Apparently even decaf disagrees with him.  He said he's always been envious of people who can drink Starbucks.

(I haven't watched his on-air presentations of PPL, so maybe he's already mentioned all that.)

Re: Waitlist cancelled or on backorder

@geezerette   That's sad, I can't imagine not drinking coffee!  I would bet it's the acid, not the caffeine, or else he could drink decaf.  I wonder if he's tried some of the cold brew techniques that significantly reduce acid in the final result?  I think there are some coffee brands that work to reduce the acidity, too.  But if Chaz can't drink it, it rather explains why he's never used it before in his CC's.  Thanks for the explanation, @geezerette .

It's possible it could be acid, or something other than caffeine.  I know I can't have too much coffee because it bothers me.  But he said it made him "jittery", even the decaf, which I thought was a little weird.  I only get "jittery" from too much caffeine, and decaf doesn't affect me at all in that way.

But that's how he phrased it.
