BExplorer, Hilary and I were discussing that on this thread a few months ago (maybe January). We each felt that we had more frizz with TT-first/Seasonal-second, and more manageable, less frizzed hair with Seasonal-first/TT-second.

That said, I still tend to use the Seasonals/613 for the second longer cleanse because I like getting the benefits of the beauty ingredients on my scalp. Sometimes I'll do a three minute first cleanse with a Seasonal/613, and then follow with a three minute TT/CA second cleanse. My hair always looks better this way (when I take the additional 2 minutes of shower time to do it). {#emotions_dlg.lol}

If Hilary sees this post I'm sure she'll add her latest thoughts on this change up.

Best of luck!!

I used the spring orange blossom today for my second cleanse following Wen kids watermelon. I think I like this combo better than using TT for the first cleanse. I also like Wen kids with the BGT. Maybe it's just a matter of finding what pairs well together. I do like TT with Sam, fig, and lavender. But for the seasonals and BGT, I think I will use the Wen kids for my first cleanse.

SGGT...its never been one of my top choices but my hair looked great today! Did it for first, second cleanse and a generous amount as leave-in.

Re: What Cleanser Did You Use Today?

I used Wen kids watermelon for the first cleanse and spring orange blossom for the second cleanse. For my leave in I used a pea size of sob cc mixed with 5 sprays of sob RTM. I mixed 3 drops of sob oil with a dime size amount of fig styling creme. My hair is super soft and moisturized. This combo almost makes my hair too soft because it is a little flyaway. I added a few drops of oil to smooth it down. Voila, smooth, shiny, super soft hair. I am loving this combo!!!

Re: What Cleanser Did You Use Today?

It is rainy and humid here today, so attempting to minimize frizz I used TT for first cleanse, and Fig for second cleanse. TT Remoist and Lav RTM as leave in, SAM SC with SAM GS, SAM mousse and SAM VTS.

I used Wen kids watermelon for the first cleanse and BGT for the second cleanse. For my leave in, I mixed 5 sprays of BGT RTM with a dime size of BGT cc. I also mixed 3 drops of fig oil with one pump of fig styling creme.

Re: What Cleanser Did You Use Today?

Newbie to WEN, started about 1mo. ago. I started with SAM loved it for my ethnic hair. I used the FIG early this morning I do not like the result. Made my hair dry. I will continue with it until finish and see result, I might just return to SAM.

Re: What Cleanser Did You Use Today?

----

I'm trying to get a sense of how BGT works on my hair, so I'm going th stick to the same hair cleansing routine for the next 2-3 weeks:

first cleanse -- TT

second cleanse -- BGT

leave-in -- 1/2 pump BGT CC, 1 pump 613 SC, 3 pumps 613 mousse

-- bebe Smile

----

running observations...

4/2 -- btw, this was my first time using BGT. I had a mixed reaction so I want to use it a few more times before I say much about it. It did really give my hair a lovely soft feeling to it though.

4/5 -- It's really too early to know for sure, but I think my hair may be absorbing the BGT's bamboo amino acid complex more easily than my hair absorbed the 613 intensive amino acid complex. -- To begin with, my hair seems to soak in about 30% more BGT CC than it does with any other CC. I know it's too soon to tell but my thin/fine hair seems to feel a bit thicker. Also the very gentle wave my hair has seems to disappear when I use the BGT -- this could be a result of increased amino acid absorption. I'll need to keep a close eye on my hair having too much amino acid complex in hair can lead to brittleness or even breakage.

Re: What Cleanser Did You Use Today?

Today, I used Wen kids watermelon for my first cleanse and spring orange blossom for the second cleanse. For my leave in, I used a pea size of SOB cc mixed with 5 sprays of SOB RTM and a pea size of CA styling creme mixed with a pump of Pom serum. I have been using the seasonals and BGT for several days in a row. My hair is not getting that dried out feeling that it usually gets from the seasonals. I think the Wen kids and serum/oils are making the difference.
