Okay, here is the scoop, everyone!
The new Spring Desert Poppy "is a very light floral scent, specifically a poppy fragrance. It's very refreshing and is reminiscent of walking past wildflowers."
Of course, now I have to find a poppy to know what it smells like! ha!

@World Traveler wrote:@quadmimi Oh, so glad you are getting your plum pear. I like the consistency of the formula. I don't know why that matters to me, but it does. As much as I love the 613 CC, it is quite concentrated and needs more water in order for me to get it the way I like.
Hi, World Traveler. I found the same thing in Plum Pear. You need more water to get that really creamed up but OH! The scent is amazing for me. I think the Wild Berry one has more menthol because it has that "cold" feeling to it. I find though, that the menthol gives me a great cleanse, more astringent.
I also found that as much as get it creamed up in my hair and scalp right, and I'm doing my shower, when I go to rinse, it "dissipated". I use a REAL lot too. My hair is now at the bottom of my shoulder blades and I use18 pumps for both cleanses, first and second. I use more sometimes too to make sure. Some formulations, such as Wen Men, Tea Tree and some others cream up TONS using less! Oh well...I don't care. I love my Wen!

@World Traveler wrote:Anyone hear that the new scent for Spring is Desert Poppy? I saw something on Facebook that led me to believe that.
Hi, World Traveler. I saw it on Chaz's Facebook site. He was doing Marisol's hair and Marisol did her daughter's hair with it. They were using prototypes of the Remoist in it. Chaz was mentioning version one and verson two. I didn't get to see it though.
I found your post about it! Sorry, I did not know you did post about it or I would not have posted mine before. Anyway, you were right about it. It IS Spring Desert Poppy. I looked up "desert poppy" and there's some kind of yellow flower they call poppy that grows in his area, where he lives. I couldn't find too much more about it. I guess I'm not typing in the right question. I asked what it would smell like. Anyway, I assume it will not be available until spring according to the name but that's okay. I love the Plum Pear. I wish the styling creme would be available in the Plum Pear already! LOL!

World Traveler....I found this just now.
The scent of poppy has quite a mysterious allure to it; filled with citrusy and slightly sweet notes including cocoa, cherry blossoms, and vanilla. All balanced perfectly with a tint of mint; just enough to tease your senses. Peppered Poppies Fragrance Oil is such a well rounded scent.
Sorry to post twice. I don't know why this did not come out when I searched before. My husband was trying to hog the computer so maybe I was getting antsy! LOL!

Hey, everyone.....I checked with Chaz's staff and they said the product is so new that they don't have any detailed information about the Spring Desert Poppy as to the different notes. When they get the ingredient list, I'll post what I find out.

@World Traveler - thanks for that info on the new Spring CC. I'm afraid it might be a no for me - I don't do well with the florals, however, I will see the notes are when you put them up.

@riley1 I'm the same way. I love flowers when I walk by them, but somehow they don't do well as an overall scent on my head for the day.
Every time I get a sniff of the florals, they always seem really great. But once they go on my head, mixed with water, they are too overpowering a scent for me.
Do want a chance to smell this one just because of the name. Perhaps a packet will be included in some upcoming TSV or ODO; that would be a great chance to check it out, just like we did with the Fall Plum Pear and Winter Wild Berry.
I'll try to remember to keep going back to his staff for an update or perhaps @77yangya can ask on Facebook. I just haven't had much time to be on Facebook or watch Instagram.
