WEN Monthly Chat - February 2020

[ Edited ]

Hi to all Wenners! Another great month we are going to have!

I have sure been enjoying the benefits of WEN during the winter months. Others with whom I work have been griping about their hair not being as manageable as usual. But then they say, "Yes, we know....you don't have the same problems because you use WEN!" LOL!  Some of them will never try WEN, even though they consistently tell me they love my hair.

How is your hair doing this winter?

Chaz has been busy on his Facebook page about specials coming up. I'll try to post photos as soon as I can and more information than you may already have.

He'll have the Beauty IQ Steal on Thursday, February 13 at 4:00pm Pacific/7:00pm Eastern. That will be the 32 ounce cleansing conditioner in Fall OR Winter scents, along with the remoist and comb. YAAAY!

Of course, since it is February, he will have his Pink Jasmine Peony for us. Only does that in February and October, although I believe he had it in the gallons in June.

And the newest addition to the Blessing family is the FAITH cleansing conditioner.

Some of you may be interested in something Chaz's team has posted:

Since the subject comes up from time to time, we have published a page with a brief overview of what we have done and been doing to ensure the safety of the product line. This page is a work in progress and will be added to and refined as we do more. But we're confident in saying WEN is one of, if not the most tested cosmetic products on the market.

It is on his Chaz Dean website (go to the very bottom of his first page, and click on SAFETY). A lot of information about testing, sensitivity to the product, analysis, etc. Way too much for me to copy and paste. Some of it are links to download even more information.

Re: WEN Monthly Chat - February 2020

Saw this on one of the WEN forums and thought you might be interested. It's being listed as Chaz's recipe for making your own refresher spray mist.

In a 6-ounce spray bottle, mix 4 pumps of a WEN 16-ounce cleansing conditioner bottle, add 2-4 drops of WEN oil, and 2 pumps of your preferred styling cream. Use warm filtered water initially to help mix the ingredients. Shake well before each use.

From a 32-ounce cleansing conditioner bottle, use 2 pumps. But if you use the 613 cleansing conditioner, use 1 pump. That is probably because 613 is so concentrated.

If you try this, please report back and tell us how you liked it!

Re: WEN Monthly Chat - February 2020

@World Traveler

Thank you for starting this thread and for so much info.  I noticed a lot of PJP items were available this morning so that's kind of exciting.  Spring seasonals are not far off and those are my favorite..

My hair is doing well this winter but my hands were really a problem.  The new NIBT in TT worked amazingly well for instant relief and for healing.  I already had the POM NIBT from the first TSV and wasn't sure about the TT scent but got the more recent Big Deal.  The TT is the one I've been reaching for the most.  The scent is the same as  the CC but seems to fade and it's so calming for my skin. To me, these Classic NIBT's are somewhat lighter than 319 and 613 and soak into my skin faster.  Love both versions and it's nice to have the options.

Thanks for all the updates.  These are very helpful.

Re: WEN Monthly Chat - February 2020

@World Traveler - Thanks for starting us off. I don't get the extreme cold in SC and right now we are getting a break from the high humidity so my hair is doing well.

Received my WWC remoist and have been trying to do that at least once a week.

BTW, I found two, YES 2, 16 oz. bottles of WWF CC. How did that happen? I can tell you, it won't happen again, lol.

@riley1 Awesome news about the two Winter White Forest products. I absolutely LOVE that scent. I think it may be taking over the place of my previous favorite of Winter Vanilla Mint.

Re: WEN Monthly Chat - February 2020

@Gussie2007 Thanks for the info on the Tea Tree body cream. For some reason, I just figured the classic creams might not as beneficial as the seasonal creams. Maybe I should try it. Tea Tree is my cleansing conditioner go-to for first cleanse, and then I rotate the seasonals for the second cleanse.

I tried the Bella Spirit body cream, but must say I prefer the 613, so I got a 20-ounce container of that. It's a lot of cream, so I scooped out about 1/4 of it and put that into a smaller container.

Hi @World Traveler thank you for the great Feb start..Smiley Happy

Sounds like some nice deals coming up. My hair is doing good, but moving back from humid Tx, to dry Az, I have had to adjust a bit..(skin care also)

My next Wen purchase will be the curl cream. I love the mousse, but think adding the curl cream may be a good move..Smiley Happy

Hi @worldtraveler thanks for starting off the new month and passing on all the great info. Hope this finds you and everyone doing well. Don’t know why but I’ve been having a difficult time sticking to my regimen. Haven’t done a remoist in a few weeks and I hate it. Loving the WWF as well but not sure I will say I’m loving it more than my beloved WVM. As of now I have more than two gallons of the WWF so I’ve been using it more than WVM.

Re: WEN Monthly Chat - February 2020

Hi, World Traveler!  Thank you for starting us on the new month!!!  WOW!  Faith in a Cleansing Conditioner!  I like that scent.  I see Hope and Love are on his site too in that.  OH, my hair is 100% perfect.  NO problem.  Chaz has given me the hair I've always dreamed of but yes, just like the other poster, my hands are a bit, well, for lack of a better word, hanging down.  I have to constantly wash them and water is the enemy in the cold months.  When I prepare food, I do lots of hand washing and drying and on every Wednesday I have to have them in water ALOT.  I do five to seven hand washes and then wash dishes after that all close together.  Our kitty sometimes gets near something that my hands don't like, I clean her up, brush her and my hands take a shellacking.  ug.  My body is SOFT and SUPPLE though.  My hands are not cut and bleeding though.  If I didn't have to do alot of hand washing they would be as perfect as the rest of me!  boo hoo!  LOL!  World Traveler, I can't believe that your work mates love your hair and complain about theirs but won't try Wen!  I jumped in with both feet, almost 11 years ago and never looked back!  My hair has a deep luster and is perfect from root to ends.  I enjoy my Wen in the shower, cleansing my hair and body!  I have a decent amount of CC from the TSV in Dec. and I'm glad I got it on Auto Delivery because in a couple of months I get the Winter and Summer ones again and then I think one more time!  Thank you for posting the info and the picture and thank you for the info on the testing and all that.  You're a doll! XO  Yes!  Peony month!  That's one of my top favorites!!!!!
