Welcome to the dog days of summer !

I hope y'all Wenners have been enjoying your weekend bar-b-ques, vacation cruises, campouts, reunions, road trips and the like.

Like last summer, I'm trying to cleanse daily through this hot weather to keep my hair in good shape, plus deplete my excess stash. These are the months when I use up a lot of the WEN I won't be repurchasing.

I've started adding a measure of Remoist to the bottom length of my hair during 2nd cleanse, right after I've gotten it all soppy-frothy. I work the Remoist right in to the cc-froth-covered hair and clip it up. I always did clip up when it's full of cc, so this doesn't add any more time or effort for me.

Sometimes I rinse it out in 5-10 min. Sometimes I throw a turbie over it and rinse it out in the sink an hour later. Finish up with the usual leave in routine.

Since there isn't a separate third rinse I don't feel like I'm doing an 'extra step' any more, and I can feel the improvement 😉 from finally getting the Remoist out of the jar and into my hair 2-3 times a week.

Like the rest of you, I have one eye on the upcoming Sept TSV, and now I'm watching for the August BeautyiQ Steal as well.

@x Hedge, good way to use Remoist. I have a stash, too, so I think I'll try that. Why not! Thanks for the good idea.

I have started putting several spritzes of RTM into my wet hair and combing it through, along with other styling products. Seems to give me bouncier hair with more body. Styles very easily. I have a stash of RTM, too, so I'm glad to find another use for it.

And if you take a steamy shower its a nice time to apply a little Remoist as a facial mask too.

@x Hedge - Thanks for the remoist tip - I'm going to try it next time I cleanse - which I'm also trying to do more often in this hot, humid summer to use up some stash.

Ooh since Chaz will be here on Sep 1st and the spring/summers are not going away til that evening at midnight, then maybe there’ll be a last chance for spring/summer deals and kits! Wishful thinking 😁
