@Hilary77 wrote:I have always been a slacker when it comes to remoist. I have a lot of remoist in my stash I need to use. I am going to try to remoist every weekend. So, yes! I will take the remoist challenge with you.
@Hilary77 lol, understand you all too well. Eventually I wound up combining my overnight treatments: oils for the scalp followed by remoist to the length of my dry hair. It works really well for me. Otherwise I'd never wind up getting regular remoist treatments.

Hi @beepzipzang !! Welcome to the Wen forum and the wenderful world of Wen!!
That's so funny because I just got my Bamboo Green Tea (BGT) oil and I love the fact that it smells so much like the CC!! BGT and Spring Orange Blossom (SOB) are my two favorite scents.

@bebe777 Thank You!!! I really enjoy reading everyone's experiences and sage advice. I guess I should have explained myself better with the smell of the BGT oil...to me it isn't that strong of a scent and I can sleep in it without it bothering me...I like to do my oil/remoist as a overnight treatment...BGT & MIF are my favorite scents so far...I started back with Wen in June...so I haven't used any of the seasonals yet....I am stocking up on BGT & MIF right now....will probably try a seasonal in winter...I did get CA CC/remoist at the event price and stocked up on these...I think it was you that suggested CA as the first cleanse after the oil/remoist and it really made a difference....you guys rock!!!!!

@beepzipzang thank you for your kind words but it was actually @Ilovelife123 who mentioned that she found the Cucumber Aloe (CA) CC was the best CC to use after an overnight oil treatment.
That CC & Remoist duo was a great value, so I'm glad that you picked it up. It's a great way to try the remoist!!
I'm really glad that you're enjoying the forum and that you've gotten a lot of good info from it.

I'm glad you like the BGT oil! I love the scent and the fact that it's such a light scent (unlike some of the other oils). The SOB oil is great as well.

@HSB1204 lol, those are the two oils I own just for the scents. I've had the SOB oil for a while now and I just received my BGT oil from the September OTO along with a BGT remoist. I really didn't need another remoist, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get a BGT remoist. This means I have an extra LAV remoist that I will be giving to a good friend of mine for her birthday (she only likes the LAV Wen)... so it all works out well.

@HSB1204 wrote:Yes, I guess my hair doesn't really like all that protein. It gets so incredibly dry if I use 613 too often so it tends to hide in the back of my cabinet.
I agree. Protein is one of those tricky things for me. When I first started using it, it made my hair unbelievably silky and soft - so I keep using it, because who doesn't want that, right? And then I got to a point where I overused it and my hair got dry, brittle, and broke. This was with a product I used before WEN, but I have overused 613 and had my hair get dry.
Now that I know, I'm more careful about the seductive call of the protein. I use 613 a day or two before I color my hair and right after, then I do a Remoist treatment. I might use 613 one or two more times during the month, but that's really it for me. I use Remoist and the oils more often.

@ChynnaBlue That's exactly what I had happen with the 613. I got great results at first and I loved it. I couldn't believe how soft my hair was. Then all of a sudden I could hardly ever use it and if I do use it too often now I just end up with dry, broken ends.

I am sticking with the challenge although I didnt use 613 this week. I used MIF CC & remoist along with FTP and TT CC. My hair was so nice (defined, shiny curls) with the ReMoist that I kept it in as a leave in.
Has everyone else stuck to their challenge?

I've been doing oil treatments two to three times a week and I did a remoist treatment last weekend. I'll do another tomorrow. My hair always feels so incredibly soft after a remoist treatment!
