I don't cleanse daily either, once or twice a week.

@nikki48  I couldn't handle not cleansing after sleeping in the oils.  Don't think it would be a very pretty picture.

My curly hair and scalp love the oils. Speaking of oils has anyone tried the BGT or FTP oil?

Re: TT oil and ReMoist Challenge

I am very pleased with the BGT oil...I do my treatments over night and the scent is not too much for me...the oil doesn't smell like the CC...it has a hint of smell to me....I love the results I get...it rinses out very easily...I just got the CA CC/remoist this week....I just applied the BGT oil to my scalp and CA remoist to my ends the 2 mix very well...I get a whiff every now and then...can't wait to see the results of the remoist...

My hair would just flat out revolt if I tried to use 613  often. I was taking long breaks in between using it, and I decided I just wanted to use up my existing supply. I switched to a every other week rotation but I am thinking about moving it to a three week rotation or perhaps once a month.

Once my current (2) bottles of 613 are gone, I am done. There will be no more purchases of this product.

My hair hates the protein as well, super dry.

Re: TT oil and ReMoist Challenge

I will participate in the remoist challenge. That's what I need to really concentrate on doing once a week over the weekend.

Re: TT oil and ReMoist Challenge

I am definately up for the challenge. I can't use the 613 more than maybe once a month. Turns my hair to straw, does not like the protien. I will try doing the remoist once a week and the oil treatment the nights before I cleanse and see what results I get. I always love the results of the overnight Re-moist treatment but I get lazy about doing it. And I forget to do the overnight oil treatment alot of times. This will be a reminder. Will let you know the result.

@nikki48 I have the BGT oil and love it. I saw that someone else said it doesn't smell like the CC but to me they smell the same.

@icezeus Yes, I don't think I'll be getting more 613 any time soon either. I have two 16 oz. bottles and it's taking me forever to use them up. I used to be able to use 613 more often but lately I've had to take longer and longer breaks so I think I'll also try it once a month as that should be plenty. I know that Chaz said 613 is supposed to be a faster treatment for those that don't have time for a remoist but they're two very different products and my hair is definitely not a fan of all that protein.

Re: TT oil and ReMoist Challenge

I do the oils biweekly and recently stepped up my remoist,  I love how bouncy my hair is after a treatment.  As far as 613 goes I incorporate it in my second cleanse but I reach a point when I have to take a break from it, that's when I tend to step up the remoist.  Now with winter coming I'll be doing more oil treatments since I don't go out as much.

I completed week 2 and the only changes in my routine were 613 as a pre conditioner (I wet my hair, applied very generously and used a shower cap) for about 3 hrs while doing other things. The other thing I changed from last week to this week was BGT during my first and second cleansings instead of MIF.

The difference in my hair is much more body! I have fluffier, lighter curls. I also have more shrinkage and less frizz. I can tell my hair is still loving the treatments and maybe that's why the frizz is better.
