Qvc already sent my 2nd shipment of my WEN gallon

So on the 26th I placed one order for a gallon of SHP on auto-delivery and I shipped on the 29th. Then yesterday I get an email that a WEN order shipped (which I assumed was the 319 UNIBT that I ordered on the 29th) but then I get another email stating that my auto-delivery plan is now complete. I open that email and sure enough it says that my SHP 2nd installment has been shipped and is now complete! I call Q customer service and tell them that it wasn't supposed to ship until December and if there's anyou way I can send it back when I get it and reinstate the original plan. The rep said that he would send me a shipping label and send a message down to the distribution people and request the plan be reinstated, but there's no guarantee that it will. So now I have to call customer service on Saturday to see if they were able to reinstate the plan and if not then I'll just have to keep the 2nd gallon and pay double the easy pay on my Q card. If they are able to reinstate the plan and I send back the gallon they sent by mistake, they're going to deduct $8.95 from my total refund amount! How is that fair when the gallons are $3 shipping and THEY are the ones that sent out the 2nd shipment by mistake?!

Has this ever happened to anyone before?

This is clearly their mistake and they should apologize to you for their mistake and your trouble of having to send back the product. You should NOT have to pay the shipping back regardless if it is reinstated or not. I would speak to another rep...or a manager.

That is awful @kricket3142 and I don't recall reading that this has ever happened to anyone.  Since it is clearly QVC's mistake they shouldn't expect you to pay the return shipping charge.

@kricket3142 You should really post thus in the customer care forum, too. They seem pretty quick to solve problems. Or anyone know which mod to notify?

@kricket3142.im sorry this has happened to you.  This is a huge fail on the Q.  I would try to elevate it and call corporate.  I always had great success with corporate up until last year.  They really made a major mistake and the woman I spoke to in the so-called Presidents office was so inept, I was stunned they actually had someone employed like,her in that position.  But try it cannot hurt.  If you didn't pay with the Q card you could call your cc company and refuse to pay for it.  I know you don't want to chance missing out on the auto ship if you send the gallon back but I wouldn't pay for it.  Remember the squeaky wheel gets the grease.  Good luck.

I've never heard of that happening before but that's pretty messed up and obviously quite a charge when you're suddenly adding the payment of another gallon. I definitely don't think you should have to pay return shipping when it was their fault.

@kricket3142, wow, I've never heard of anything like this before happening with a QVC A/D plan. -- This is so messed up... and it's so unfair after all you've been through this past year. 

 

Having been the recipient of at least four QVC mix ups (and that's the nice term for it), I would highly recommend that you get a QVC Supervisor in on this. -- And if that doesn't work then call QVC Corporate. Seriously. 

 

@Susan25 and I can tell you all about the December 2014 Wen TSVs that we paid for, only to have QVC cancel our orders (after they had cashed my check) -- then they told us that we wouldn't even be able to receive the JUne follow up A/D shipment... even though QVC was at error.

 

I spent a whole lot of time on the phone spinning my wheels to no avail. -- Basically I got told that once QVC had cancelled my A/D plan that they had no way to reinstate it. -- Maybe my mistake was not getting QVC Corporate involved, because another Wenner did and did receive her second shipment. 

 

Bottom line: I was left with the feeling that once QVC had made a mistake and messed up an A/D plan, that all they really wanted to so was cancel it... so I was out of options. 

 

Please let us know how this all goes, because this shouldn't have happened to you and maybe we can help trouble shoot you through their mistake.

Don't wait! Ask for a Supervisor. If this 1st supervisor isn't good, Hang up and call again and ask for a supervisor. They can't resell your gallon...so they might as well say..Lucky You and keep it for free.

 

That's what I think should happen. Unfortunately, I don't work for QVC.

 

@bebe777 Was wondering about the body lotion OTO with some oil and mask?  Is there any chance? Thank in advance and thanks for all you do!

 You never have to pay for return shipping if it is QVC's fault or if there is a problem with the item you purchased. You just have to use your voice...and maybe more than once.

Absolutely, do this and I don't think you'll need to notify a Mod because they do watch that forum.

 

Sorry that's happened. I get lots of things on AD and have never had anything like this happen. They should be able to fix this for you.
