Do you have to comb WEN through while cleansing? If you do, first, second or both?

@MamawskidsMamawskids   I don't comb it thru during my cleanses but you certainly can. Try it and see what works for you.

I always use the comb during my rinse on the second cleanse but not the first.

I have my Wen comb hanging in the shower but don't always use it.  My hair is short so I am able to comb through with my fingers just as well.  Generally you comb through the 2nd cleanse I believe, then after I let it sit in my hair while I shower.

@MamawskidsMamawskids   I have very thin hair, just above my ears. I also use the comb with my 2nd cleanse..I can tell a difference if I don't....

You don't really HAVE to.  I have my comb in the shower and after I'm all creamed up I rake my fingers through but I have to like "shake" them through until all the hair is not sticking together and pulling.  I think can rake right through and it gets creamier.  I DO comb through while rinsing.  I feel this gives me a very good and thorough cleanse.  It's fun too!  I always cleanse, rinse and repeat.  I have VERY oily scalp and I put the Botanical on over night so I want a good cleanse.  I feel it's whatever works best for you.

Me too, FleaMktQn.  That's a good point.  I only comb on my second rinse.  I did not think to put that.  Good point!

Huh, Reading the posts I guess I'm a rebel.  I Comb out my First cleanse Rinse.  I want to be sure I get all the build up well and truely outta there before I do my second cleanse.  Then a quick comb through going under and lifting up the hair at the back so the rinse water can get a good flow through at the final rinse.

I do think the combthrough helps especially with the final rinse.

@candys mine  I always rinse my hair "upside down"..We have the shower head where I can detach it, (on a handheld attachment)..Then I can bring the water spray close to scalp.

I can't remember if I ever did the first cleanse or not, but will try both this morning..
