Question about WEN oil bottle problems

[ Edited ]

I received my first TSV shipment (YAY!) and I could smell the scent even with the sealed box sitting on my counter! I expected to open it and find that something had leaked, but it didn't...I do seem to have one of the bum oil bottles though Smiley Sad It hasn't leaked, but the topper looks compromised (it's thin and collapsed in on one side) and the whole dropper doesn't screw onto the bottle straight.

I know other ladies here have had this problem, so what did you do? I assume there are places I can buy glass bottles with a dropper to store and use oil, but I don't know where. Drugstore or craft store? What have the rest of you done? Thanks for your suggestions!

Re: Question about WEN oil bottle problems

I've only had a couple of bad oil droppers, just like you've described. It still worked, but the dropper would only "fill" part of the way (about 1/2 of the normal amount). I still used it, because I was too lazy to find another oil bottle/dropper 😌

If I were you, I wouldn't bother contacting QVC, they'd probably tell you to send the entire TSV back 😁  Of course, we all know that Team Wen provides great customer service, they might send out a replacement dropper.

As as far as purchasing a replacement bottle near you, you might have luck at either a drug store or a craft store. Also, I've seen them at places like Whole Foods, near the beauty products/essential oils.

Please contact Customer Service at Chaz Dean Studio.  Number is on the bottle and brochure.  :-)

Re: Question about WEN oil bottle problems

Team WEN will help you.

I had a broken cap and a pump issue and they sent me replacements.  I keep all my extra pumps and caps but this was the MIF and I didn't have anything that fit the MIF bottle.

Hi wengirl42. Sorry you got a bad one.  I was the one that wrote about this a few years ago that I contacted the studio about it. I haven't had a problem since then.  I went to my pharmacy and I got two brown glass two ounce  bottles. They work great and I actually like the size I transfer my oil in to them at times, I find them easier to work with.  It's funny you posted because I just saw one of my bottle's (that isn't even a month old) top has also caved in but I don't have much more to go to finish off the bottle.
