Re: OTO Notification thread - FTP CC, SC & Mousse

@quadmimi     @aprimo @sonechko @FleaMktQn made the change to the newer, lighter comb a few years back when they first offered the supersize Remoist with a Wen comb.

i had just bought my first Wen comb (the older, thicker version) a few months back in November and I was a bit disappointed that they had modified the comb. Some others were disappointed as well .

Someone wrote Wen and shared the response they received. Evidently the original comb was prone to break of it got dropped a few times. So Wen re-engineered the comb so that it was less likely to break when if was dropped. Well, it clearly works because I've dropped the newer one that I keep in my bathroom a number of times and it still hasn't broken.

while I still prefer the heft of the original comb, I much prefer knowing that my Wen comb is less likely to break.

I was not aware the comb had changed. Thanks for the explanation Bebe. When I bought my first WEN comb a few months ago from Amazon it was the old, heavy type. I just thought that's how they all were. After I read sonechko's comment about the two different versions, I checked the ones I received with my OTOs recently and they are both smaller, lighter with more tapered teeth. I haven't tried the new kind yet, but I'm glad to hear that they work the same.
