Allow me to echo the suggestions to use enough CC and to follow directions - plus DO get the comb if you can! I doubted the veracity of the claims that method mattered that much. I was totally wrong. When I truly committed to the process and the methodology my hair absolutely came to life. I now have a bit more play in that sometimes I will only do one cleanse and leave in if I'm otherwise not styling my hair. However, using the proper amount in the proper order and following protocols really makes a huge difference so I do it almost all the time. It is worth it!

@EvieJ wrote:I have tried SAM CC but it left my hair way too dry and it felt like straw. I'm now trying Lavender CC and it is alot better but I still feel that I need more moisture on the ends. I am 48 and have thinning hair which I color now since I'm getting grey. Any help would be appreciated. I don't have issues with oily or dry scalp and the first few inches of my hair at the root feels great using Wen but the last 7 or so inches are too dry.
Also which styling cream, mousse or any other product would you recommend or say are must haves in the Wen line. I'm really new to all of this. What should I get?
Hi EvieJ! Welcome to Wen!
Are you using a pump of your CC as a leave-in on your ends? That helps tremendously.
While I use the styling creams, they aren't "must haves" for me. The CC as a leave-in is a must, though.

Hi @EvieJ , welcome to the Wen forum and the wenderful world of Wen!!!
There are a lot of different threads to read and especially when you are new to Wen it can seem a bit overwhelming.
Below I've listed some threads that would be helpful. The orange threads are the ones that relate to the September 5th TSV while the blue threads are on general Wen information.
In particular, with regard to which TSV you might want to purchase, I'd recommend that you read through:
* Wen Sept 5th TSV - 32oz. CC, 4oz. Oil, 12oz. RTM, & 6oz. SC - scents: Classic line
* 9/5 what would you buy if you had no stash
For more general Wen information, the Wen FAQ will probably give you enough info without feeling overwhelmed. Wen News will give you the latest information about what's new with Wen.
