After years of watching Chaz and Wen, I took the plunge with the 613 TSV a few months ago. As it turns, out my hair and I love 613 CC and styling cream. (The 613 RTM is too sticky for me, but I like some of the other RTMs.) My hair is in its mid-40's, fine but abundant, and color-treated. It has a slight natural wave, and I wear it in an inverted bob. I am able to style it with a blow drier and a medium round boar bristle brush... no flat-iron needed since I started using the 613.

What other CCs might work well for me?

If your hair is color-treated and you use a blow dryer, you may want to try Fig for moisture. My hair is also fine, but it's wavy-curly and I need a lot of moisture. Fig never weighs my fine hair down.

You might also like the seasonals.

@k9mama Have you tried Summer Honey Peach (SHP)? It's very moisturizing and smells great! You might like Mandarin Italian Fig (MIF) it's also very moisturizing.

Good luck and Happy WENNING!

I love the 613 too, but some people find it has too much protien in it for daily use.

I agree with the other poster - you should definitely try some of the seasonals - especially the summer honey peach.

Usually in December, they offer a package of some of the original formulas (SAM, TT, LAV, POM, FIG) for a great price.  They are 16 oz bottles, and I find it's nice to have them around to switch things up or to use if you hair needs change with the seasons.

For me, I need lots more moisture in the winter since I live in the midwest - all that dry air inside and out.  Summer is all about SAM and TT - with all that humidity in the air, I don't need any more moisture.

I use the RTM at night as an overnight moisture treatment (in the summer) use the oil more in the winter, or on my ends - they get dry from blow drying and curling iron.

Welcome.

@k9mama. Welcome to the wen forum.  You came to the right place, we are nothing but enablers here lol.   Your hair sounds a lot like mine and my hair loves sweet almond, it's my holy grail.  I mix up to five different cc when I cleanse but I always incorporate sweet almond in my second cleanse and use it most times as my leave in.  Unlike you I need to mix my 613 with other cc's.

If you like 613, you may want to try the mandarin Italian fig.  It's one of my favorites.  While I do like the scent of the bamboo one, the mandarin Italian fig leaves me with even better results.

yes!! the honey complex that is in SHP is amazing on color treated hair.  I also recommend Fig CC. I would also get an oil and/or a jar of remoist in whatever formula/scent  you like best { I say Bamboo since so spa like}

and if you are willing to try air drying, get the Texturizing Treatment Spray for a wave enhanced look - about 13 sprays all over then scrunch up in your hand and wait for the wowza as it dries! Still do normal leave-in & styling creme before the TTS for the best results. I have found I need a little more leave-in when air drying btw.

good luck!
