Hi everyone,

Last night at midnight I impulsively ordered Lavender. Now I'm having second thoughts! I think thinking of spring got to me! I'm pretty much a seasonal girl, but my first cleanse has been Fig, which I've used through the past fall and winter.

My hair isn't really dry (or oily), but it is color treated. It's thick and naturally wavy. I usually just let it air dry. I've used Pom with success and SAM too. All of them are fine. I just thought I'd try something different.

What do you think? Am I OK with Lavender, or should I try another classic?

I did go crazy with Cherry Blossom last night - can't wait for those! Smiley Happy

I'll try to help answer your question......

i have tick and wavy hair like you plus it's color treated.  Lavender didn't work for me. Darn! It was sort of drying.  Fig is the best classic.  The second best is tea tree.

but, if you are feeling courageous, see how lavender works for you!

happy wen day!

Well my medium texture, wavy hair has never liked LAV. It gave me hair that looked like I put my finger in a light socket. POM and CA are my favorite cores although I can use SAM, TT and Fig but I don't need the moisture level of Fig at this point. TT and Fig used to be my favorites. My hair isn't dry either.

I have very long thick wavy hair and my favorites are fig and lavender. I don't think you can go wrong with the lavender.

Another NO on the Lavender. I have frizzy, wavy hair and it just dried my hair out and made it even frizzier (if that's possible, lol).

Oh my gosh, I just recently tried the Lavender and I really like it!  My hair is curly.  Like yours, it isn't dry or oily, pretty normal.  I have a lot of hair, but the hair itself is fine. I've found that it's been difficult finding something for my hair because I need moisture for my curls, but I also need something for volumn since my hair shaft is thin.  Lavender works really nice for me.

I think Lavender is one of the formulas you have to try.  For me, it made my thick, wavy hair super dry Smiley Sad  I was bummed because I love the scent!  I hope it works for you!

I have thick curly hair and I can't use Lavender on it's own.  I get too poofy.  If I mix it, it's fine.

I can't use Lavender or Light because I'm allergic to lavender, but I agree with everything here. My hair is wavy/curly and color treated. Mine is also naturally very dry, so most formulas leave it dry. Fig and Tea Tree work best for me.

I use Fig in conjunction with other things so that I don't get bored. I might mix them or use Fig as a second cleanse when I'm not rushed or being lazy. Some I can get away with using alone as long as I use Fig with the next wash, but I'm generally better off using Fig every wash,
