On June 13, 1997, Spirit became a permanent part of the Chaz Dean Studio family. Unfortunately, Spirit passed away on June 9, 2009, while I was in Pennsylvania for QVC.

I will always remember how it felt receiving that call about Spirit's passing. I was in the QVC salon, prepping for our show, and I received a call saying the Bravo team from Flipping Out showed up and found her lifeless body.

At that moment all my memories of and with Spirit flashed through my mind. I could not imagine my life or Chaz Dean Studio without Spirit. She had been there through so many of my life's most pivotal moments to date: the opening of my second salon, my brother passing away, adopting Grace and Montgomery, living at the Salon, launching WEN, my mother's battle with cancer and passing away, launching QVC, and all the Salon renovations.

Spirit was such a fiber in my life. I felt as if she was my true Guardian Angel. She completely enriched, enhanced, and touched every person who came in contact with her, and we are talking about thousands of people who walked through those doors for those 12 years she was in our lives.

Spirit, thank you for the LOVE you brought to all the people who had the honor of meeting you. Sending absolute love, honor, and gratitude.

Great review of the Botanical scalp treatment.  Mine is still in process but I know I'll eventually get it.  Great suggestion to use it on eyebrows!  If we're supposed to use it "every night" are we supposed to cleanse every morning?  I'm fine with that but I'm not clear if it supposed to be used the night before a non-cleansing day.

@SurferWife The instructions on the bottle say to "cleanse out in the morning....."

Last night when I was using the botanical again, I was trying to get close to one side of my scalp near my face/ear. The spray nozzle on this product spreads the mist out more than I would like and I got a bit in my eye! OUCH! Washed it out immediately with water.

I much prefer the oil dropper to this type of nozzle. I will need to hold it closer than I planned. Thought I could save time and do it easier by just spraying my ultra short hair and work it into the scalp, since the hair gets saturated with the product anyway.

Was so surprised to see this in large print on a box from QVC. First time I've seen something that says where the product is made. It was a utility item, not WEN.

I emailed Chaz's CS to ask why no more Indigo gallons (as it sold out super fast)

They said Chaz fought hard for more gallons but the Q had the final say..He is trying to bring more of certain things back..

Chaz is back on tonight, Friday night/early Saturday morning. Since it is the 13th of June, a very meaningful day for him, I am eager to see if he follows his routine of having a special deal (beyond the great deal with the gallons!) for us.

Thanks @worldtraveler just checked my guide. So since I’ve been having delivery problems with USPS I’ve been nervous about my Wen orders. Tonight my husband brings in a package and was delighted it was my UNIBT order in a big box. I open the box and there’s only one in there. My first thought was they screwed up my order. Do you believe that they shipped each one in its own shipment? So I’m not out of the woods yet have to sit and wait for all the others to arrive. So wasteful!!!
