@woodyend Excellent video; thanks for posting it.

@SurferWife On my very short hair, I just dip my fingers in the jar and come out with what looks to me to be between a teaspoon and a tablespoon. I rub it in my hands, spreading it all over both hands and then rake my hand/fingers thru my hair, trying to ensure all hair is covered in it. Then I put his WEN comb thru my hair to ensure it is evenly distributed. And go about my business.

Did this last night, and by the time I went to bed it had dried/crusted. Did my 100 strokes of brushes thru the dried hair, put my Tea Tree oil on my scalp, massaged my scalp, and watched some TV, read, and went to bed.

I used to put a very thin throw-away plastic cap on my head for the full night when I did the remoist, because at the salon they put you under the hairdryer for about 30 minutes. I figured heat was needed. I don't do that anymore. For some reason, the plastic cap made my head itch after laying on it all night long. Maybe it was the heat from the remoist that was created under the cap. Don't know. Just don't use it now that I put the remoist on earlier in the evening.

I don't think you can put too much remoist on, but conservatively speaking, as long as it thinly covers all your hair, you will be fine. My remoist lasts a lot more than eight times out of a jar like he says it will. Started using more; doesn't increase how well my hair performs the next day, so cut it back to just enough to fully, thinly cover the hair.

Hope this helps!

My review:

I used Indigo straight as the second cleanse and have medium brown hair.  I don't love the smell, but I certainly don't mind it.  I had a hard time getting it frothy, and made my shower a mess in the process of trying (but it rinsed off!).  It was just fine as far as moisture, but someone who needs more moisture will find this drying (the original has honey, so that may be different).  Can't say I notice a huge difference as far as end result color, but I do see a subtle change....brown looks richer.  Next time I will try it as a leave in and let you know!

@Greenqueen Loved the photos; thanks so much. And I definitely see a difference.

How LONG did you leave it in your hair before rinseing it out?

@SurferWife my hair is almost shoulder length and I use a heaping teaspoon on damp hair. I used to use a lot more until I listened to Chaz. I rub it in my hands like Chaz demonstrates and then apply then comb it thru. I have gotten much better using the combs these days. Like Chaz says your hair absorbs it.

@World Traveler

Guessing 3-4 minutes...normal shower length.  I'd also be interested to try "priming" dry hair for 30 minutes before my shower, as I've read others did it with MIF.

So many possibilities!

And thanks everyone!

@World Traveler

Priming dry hair with CC was something @bebe777 came up with. Many of us miss her Smiley Sad  Apply CC to dry hair and cleanse as usual, the prime becomes part of the first cleanse
