Have you thought about the FF rice? I get even better results with it than MIF and BGT can be drying for me. I have sensitivities and a ff is a blessing to me. Plus it doesn't clash with my second cleanse.
I haven't tried the FF one yet. For the same reason I didn't try the MIF, I thought since the BGT didn't work that well that the related ones also wouldn't. Plus I was disappointed that there was yet another new rice based CC but it wasn't menthol free. I could try MIF and the new FF one probably. Thanks for posting.

I can't edit but forgot to add I'm growing back out too. I cut about a foot off last year of non wen hair. So glad to have all wen hair now.
Oh nice @Thia-Winter it does feel good to have not any 'poo hair left. It took forever for me to make the decision but it was nice to wear my hair down all the time. I did miss my updos though and I can't do nearly as many different styles at APL as I could at tailbone.

@jaxs mom wrote:@bebe777 Thanks, I'll give some thought to ordering a small bottle to try. I didn't bother before since the BGT didn't really work well for me. Although I do love the scent.
@jaxs mom, there really is a difference between Bamboo Green Tea (BGT) and Mandarin Italian FIg (MIF).
BGT was my "go to" first cleanse until MIF came along. I loved using BGT as my first cleanse because, along with Spring Orange Blossom (which I know you like), BGT was my favorite scent.
But then MIF came along and just blew my socks off with my very first cleanse.
Some Wenners had said that BGT could be drying to the hair, but I didn't understand what they had been talking about until I tried MIF. -- I hadn't found BGT to drying but, in comparison to MIF, I could understand what they had been talking about.
I've been using MIF as my "go to" first cleanse for about a year now. While it was great for my hair, I really missed the BGT scent... but MIF gave me my best hair days.
These days I'm actually starting to like the MIF scent... but that's probably because I really like what it does for my hair.
@jaxs mom, I hope you give it a try, because I think you'll like it.
Oh, I almost forgot... you might want to try the rice-based Fragrance Free (FF) CC instead of MIF, because the FF is basically the fragrance free version of MIF. -- And if I remember correctly, you sometimes have issues with scent. -- MIF and FF have almost identical ingredients decks (I think ingredient number 20 something is missing from one of them). -- They both work equally well on my hair.
@sonechko is another MiF Wen girl and I think she feels the same way about both of them.

I like SHP CC, but I love the mousse!
The mousse in 613 & SHP gives me really nice shine. I like the shine quality more than the attributes of hold etc, that I get from them.
I have never bought a styling mousse from another brand that gives me the shine that the WEN does. I have used Redkin and other brands that, if you apply too much makes your hair stiff and absolutely no shine!! I have blonde highlights so I am pretty happy when my hair has great shine!! (I use WEN brushes too, which I think helps)
i am anxious to see what Chaz has in store for the date 6/13! Plus saving up for Fall goodies! $$$$$
Hi @Luv_My_Beagle, it'sgood to see you around again. I hope that you're having a great June.
I agree with you about the shine. I especially like the 613 and Bamboo Green Tea Moussie moos that have that special French glossing complex in them.
I'd also love to see a 12 Seasonals Travel pack!!

@jaxs mom I have a picture when my hair was midback of my hair in a celtic knot with a hair fork. You could literally see where my pre wen hair ended and my all wen hair started. That pic was what finally made me decide to cut
I have hair pieces I use daily. It makes me feel like my hair is still uber long. No one can tell they're fake, and I can still do celtic knots. Win win.

I didn't have to time to read the entire thread, but I'll offer my opinion regarding the CLV scent.......it smells EXACTLY like the Bath & Body Works scent of the same name. They're identical to my nose, and I'm not a fan. I think it would have been really nice without the verbena.
I can't offer much help regarding a formula choice, my hair prefers the core wheat formulas, I can only use the others occasionally. BGT is way too drying (but I like the scent) and I'm allergic to MIF (but it's more moisturizing to me than BGT).

Oh nice, I haven't tried any of the long hair pieces. I've considered trying that style where you braid a long piece of cloth into your hair, I can't remember what it's called though. @Thia-Winter

@jaxs mom isn't that called a paranda or something like that?

@jaxs mom Get a gallon of SHP! You know you love it and it is the best formula evah! I bet it would work so well with the Kids apple to balance it with moisture.
