Hi everyone! I'm contemplating giving the Lavender CC a try. I can use pretty much any of the core, seasonal, and restorative CCs without issue. I have hair to my mid-back. My hair is fine with medium thickness. I have an oily scalp that has been somewhat resolved with frequent WEN oil treatments. I still have an oily scalp, but I can go approximately 2 days in between cleanses if I don't work out or sweat profusely in my humid Southern climate. I have the best results with CA, TT, POM. I mix CCs (core, seasonal, restorative) every cleanse.
I'm curious how everyone who likes LAV uses it. Do you use it as first cleanse, second cleanse, do you mix with other formulas? All suggestions are appreciated!

@CoCo87 Hi, I also have fine hair but a lot of it. I use TT on my scalp and lavender for the remainder for my first cleanse. My hair likes lavender but the best results are with SAM, I always incorporate SAM in the second cleanse and as a leave in but I also use SOB as a leave in at times with the same great results.

Thanks @ANewHue! I was contemplating mixing LAV and TT. Do you ever mix LAV and SOB for a cleanse, or is SOB only for your leave in? Thanks again for sharing your tips!

I've never used Lav with Sob. I usually incorporate a seasonal with SAM and 613 for my second cleanse. I can tell you TT and SGGt is an outrageous mix, I also use that for a first cleanse. If I use SOB for the second cleanse sometimes I will also use it as the leave in.

Hi @CoCo87, and the short answer is... I don't.. ever... alright, I do use it as a body lotion but I won't let it near my hair.
I have baby fine hair. -- When I first started using Wen, Chaz only had his Classic line. Tea Tree (TT) was my "go to" CC. Cucumber Aloe (CA) and Pomegranate (POM) worked well for my hair.
FIG and Sweet Almond MInt (SAM) each weighed my hair down and made it greasy.
And Lavender was a disaster for my hair. -- It would turn my hair into a frizz ball and/or dry it out. -- Eventually I figured out that probably the lavender oil itself was the culprit and not the Witch Hazel (because there is also witch hazel in the CA).
For whatever reason, Lavender is the hands down the most problematic Wen CC in any line for folks to use. -- It does work well for some people (like @ANewHue ) but I've read more complaints about the LAV than I have with any other CC.
These days I use the Restoratives, Seasonals, 613 and Wen Men because they all have the amino acid complex in them... and the Restoratives all have the bamboo water as well.
Best of luck!!

I agree with @bebe777. When I first started using Wen I tried SAM as the very first CC. It worked great for my hair but I wanted to try the other formulas. Since Chaz said that LAV was for volume I figured it would be perfect for me since I have thin, fine hair. LAV was by far the worst formula for my hair. I had absolutely no volume and just ended up with frizzy dry hair. It's the only core formula that really doesn't work for my hair at all.

I mix it. I find LAV a bit drying.
I have the honey lilac - which I like the performance but not the scent, so lately my morning cocktail has been LAV, SHL and TT.
I am a single clense gal, so I just pump about 4 pumps of each scent, mix it up in my hand and go.
I think the TT takes the too florally scent of the SHL and mellows it. The SHL takes the drying edge off of the LAV.
Can't wait to finish these bottles and move on to my summer cocktail.

Thanks @Michele5004. I'm a mixologist as well. I typically do 2 cleanses and mix the CCs in each cleanse. Your TT, LAV, SHL combo sounds wonderful! Thanks for sharing.

I agree with @bebe777 and @HSB1204 about the lavender formula. I had terrible results with LAV and had to mix it with other more moisturizing formulas to use it up. If would never purchase this formula again.
