I bought the WEN Kids for my DGD and she and her Mommy like it.  I was wondering the difference between the regular WEN and WEN Kids? Do any of you use the regular on your children?

@shy bobcat  The kid formula I believe has the menthol taking out of it for safety. 

My sister used the regular Wen on my niece and her hair was complimented everywhere she went that day.  You can use the regular just be mindful of the menthol if you have a sensitive kid.

Before the WEN Kids was available, people used “regular” (classic) WEN formulas on their children.  

Because the Kids formula is rice-based, it is lighter and it rinses out easier than the other formulas.  It also has three scents that are probably more to children’s liking than the other, more “adult” scents.  Along with being menthol-free.

ETA:  Conversely, many adults, myself included, use WEN Kids.🙂

I use "regular" WEN on my son and it works great. He mostly uses MIF and TT CC, and he gets some of the TT replenishing mist. He's 5, and one time he decided he wanted to try to wash his own hair, and used my styling creme as CC instead. Other than that, no issues using any and all formulas on him

I really like the WEN Kid's Strawberry-Banana, and also the Watermelon. The third is Apple, but I prefer the other two. Like to use them on the weekends as a treat.

From what I understand the WEN Kid's products are not as treatment-based as the others, so there are things in the regular WEN that adults use that kids don't need.....yet.

@shy bobcat The WEN Kid's are all rice-based - no wheat, gluten, soy, jojoba, or nuts, and menthol-free. Also, the Classic CCs and the WEN Kid's CC's do not have the WEN 11 amino acid complex.

My tween niece with long hair loves spring honey lilac and spring cherry blossom. Her hair is tangle free and no more knots in her hair after sleeping.
