Has anyone seen or heard from her? She has been in my thoughts and haven't had the chance to post. Hope she's safe and she's not around the volcano .

@ANewHue  Hi there!  Thank you for asking.   I'm good here, and

not living close to the eruption sites.  But here in Hilo, we have a lot

of voggy days.  People with breathing problems are really

suffering.  Kind of similar to smog but this one is called Vog.

Having tradewinds would help.

Right now of course there is a mandatory evacuation down at

all the affected areas in Pahoa.  Many many people have lost

their homes and are with the shelters, friends and relatives.

Just recently, an adult male was arrested for theft/entering

someones home.  He got caught red handed by the owner of

that home.  Kudos to the homeowner.  He and a friend had

personally devilered that guy to the cops!

Then another guy was arrested for shooting/threatening another

homeowner who was checking his property out.   This incident

was on video with the guy with the gun in his hands.

A couple from New York got arrested for entering a restricted

area.  Not good for all these people, charges get bumped up

to felony charges instead of misdemeanor.

Again, thanks for thinking about us on the Big Island!!!!

@AlohaSun hi so happy to hear you're okay and unscaved by the devastation in HI. I've been watching the coverage daily and I feel so bad for everyone who has lost their little piece of paradise. It's truly heartbreaking to witness. Haven't been on here much but I had you in my thoughts and prayers along with @SurferWife. 💕

@ANewHue Just looking at the lava flows and fountains are very

breathtaking.  But, it does cause a lot of heartaches.

@SurferWife Hope the vog isn't bother your island too much.

Every morning soon after waking up, I can smell that sulfer in

the vog.  Some days the haze is very thick.  Take care over there.

@ANewHue...I’m much farther away from the volcanoe than @AlohaSun.  I’m on O’ahu, but thank you for keeping us all in your thoughts.

@AlohaSun...funny you should ask...just today I started getting a scratchy throat and stopped up head. I think i’m finally catching my husband’s head cold, but the haze & bog with no tradewinds sure isn’t helping. I just got home from work, so I plan to chill for the rest of the evening. Aloha!

@SurferWife Oops, I seem to have been out of the loop for some time, but better

late than never.  I do hope it's gotten better for you over there.  We still get the

hazy days, but not as bad as the beginning.  Take Care My Wenderful Wen

Lady!!  Aloha
