Hi everyone.  Just wondering if those who love the 319 CC have tried it by itself without mixing - and what the results were.  I use 613 as a mixer, but I can't use it by itself - it makes my curly hair frizzy when I do.  I got the 319 in the TSV but haven't tried it yet. Also, have you found that you can use the 319 with every cleanse?  I cannot always do that with the 613.  Thanks!

I am still to give 319 a try, and also wondering if others, who could not use 613 by itself, used 319 and without a problem. I remember, when I tried this with 613, at first all worked just great! And with addition cleanses, then, my hair did not like it. I do a first cleanse only with 319 occasionally, and without a problem.

Me!

I use 319 by itself all the time with no issues.   I have to mix 613 but not because of the protein in it, I have ingredients sensitivities to it.

Thanks Thia-Winter - how are your results using it by itself?

@sonechko - I can only use 613 as a mixer.  Not sure why that is, maybe because of the protein?

I am not sure, @Arianny. What I found out with WEN, we need individually try and test different variations and methods, and not even rely solely on such "tests", but watch present hair condition and needs, as they may vary.

I admit, I was a little afraid to do the 319 all by itself, I do not want to take my hair into a negative spin, but I will never-the-less try it.  I already thought, if hair becomes a little dry and overly "proteined", I'd spray it with FIG Replenishing Treatment mix, and rectify a problem this way.

My goal right now is to finish up a year old 32 oz opened bottles of other CCs, so this may wait a little, or when I get into "the mood" of doing 319 alone.

@sonechko and @Arianny protein forces moisture from the hair because it fills in the blanks within the hair shaft, so if you have issues with dryness from 613 that's why. Following with rtm is perfect....adding back the moisture that left.

@Arianny, I LOVE my 319! I can totally use it alone and get soft, manageable hair but I'd miss my wvm.

Woman Happy  I'll need to give WVM another try coming Winter. To me SHP totally replaces WVM, and in a way is better. For me it is. I did not like the scent of WVM, I know, I know - great many LOVE it!

It also was a little heavy on my hair too, but I had all pre-Wen hair back then in the Winter of 2014, and I do not know how it would react to WVM now. But I know - SHP for me, smells great, is very moisturizing without weighting my hair down.

The Nourishing CCs like 613 and 319, for my hair I consider to be a TREATMENT, and I do prefer 319 by far. Just adding some to my cleanses work, will definitely do it alone soon!

I can use 319 alone with wonderful results!  I can barely use 613 and have to mix--it really dries my hair out.  319 leaves my hair soft and moisturized.  To me, they are completely different CCs.  HTHSmiley Happy
