Savannah has 22 historic squares.  Each square has its own name and look, with most of them having a unique statue, sculpture, or structure as the focal point in the center.  The first time I visited Savannah, I enjoyed learning about the history of the squares and following a walking tour, through all of them.  

 

I was especially struck by the beauty of them at night.  Walking at night, gave me a unique feel of the city.  It was one of the most memorable things I did. 

 

I think they are Savannah’s treasures.
