Re: Would you embark on a 3 yr 163 country cruise if given the chance?

Question-how many days do they dock for each place they visit? If I visit other places, I like to stay quite a few days to absorb the local flavor and try to live as those who live there do.

No. My health is iffy enough that I wouldn't take the chance, and the thought that I might be coopedmup on a boat/ship would make me very uncomfortable.

If my circumstances were different, I might try it.

No way.
I love to travel and my dear sister and I have taken month long trips to France, I don't get home sick, sister was ready to come home, of course we had our two pups boarded with our vet.

I've cruised for a week and will never cruise again on a ship. I will cruise on a European riverboat. We had the best time.

Large ship cruising-too many people!
Three years on a big ship,no. I would be bored out of my mind!

I would ABSOLUTELY do it! if I was able!!❤ That would be a once in a lifetime experience, and with the ability to stay connected via electronic communication and FaceTime, it would be worth it! It is a nice DREAM for me because I could NEVER afford it, and cannot be away from my doctors that long!😐

No, I wouldn't want to do this at all even if I was paid to do it!

No way!! Doesn’t even sound appealing. I got sick on the Maid of the Mist (Niagara Falls) can’t imagine being on a big cruise ship. 😳

Re: Would you embark on a 3 yr 163 country cruise if given the chance?

Royal Carribbean currently has their "Ultimate World Cruise" underway. It's 274 nights if you opt for the entire cruise. It can also be broken into one of 4 segments of 60+ nights, or even smaller segments ranging from 9-28 days.

I would absolutely LOVE to do this and am just starting to research it. It would be faulous if I could do one of each of the 4 segments every year, but if it's not an every year thing, 274 nights would still be far easier to be away from home for than 3 years.

~Not new, never been banned. Every time I take a break I have to re-register for some reason~

There is nothing on a cruise ship to entice me abord.  No way.  I would be bored to pieces.
