We are planning a trip to Vegas this year. We used to go once a year, but haven't been in 3 years. If you could only go to one show and eat at one restaurant, which would it be. My favorite show is "O" and my favorite restaurant (so far) is Prime. Both are at the Bellagio.

Love Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill and best Cirq show was Ka. My very best trip to Vegas was: Arrived Fri. afternoon and saw Neil Young concert that night. Saw Elton John on Sat. night. Went downtown to see Carl Ferris, the sax player who plays on Fremont St. most nights, on Sun. night. Ate at Mesa Grill twice, and went home. I’m not a gambler.

Favorite show: toss up between Beatles Love at the Mirage and Elton John at Caesars. Our favorite restaurant is Battistas which is Italian cuisine located behind the Flamingo, the food and the atmosphere are awesome!

Another vote for Mesa Grill at Caesars.
I'm recommending Human Nature at the Venetian because why name a show that isn't running. They are great. Aussie's who do all sorts of music. We saw their Motown show and not being a big fan of Motown, I was dubious. But my motto when on vacation is 'go along, to get along'. it was fabulous. Really! Go see it.

I second Battistas (great food/atmosphere and prices are beyond reasonable plus all the House wine you want--no additional cost). Be aware that Battistas, like a lot of restaurants on/near the Strip is owned by one of the casinos that is poised to go on strike at anytime; this strike is a really big deal and could last for a while. Another great restaurant no impacted by possible strike is Lotus of Siam (in Chinatown); this is one of the best Thai places in the country (moderate price, reservations are essential).
Love KA and Jersey Boys and Blue Man Group.

We haven’t been in almost 5 years but we enjoyed buffet at the Rio and Bubba Gumps.
Celine at Caesar’s was an awesome show.
