I think the fact that we have not heard from @Alter Ego for a couple of days is a good sign. She must be out camping and can't post any reports. I think there was a chance she might not be able to go further south to do that, but am betting no news from her is good news that she she is on her camping part of the trip.

Years ago I learned of Patagonia from an article in National Geo.  I was wowed by it's wind swept beauty.  Your pictures are wonderful and your dialogue witty and interesting.  Safe travels and thanks for sharing.
