RE: St Paul's Cathedral:

Our guide told us that during WWII a bomb did pierce one of the stained glass windows but did not detonate.

Loved your picutres.  My son in law is British.  His daughter is visiting and will be coming in on Wednesday.  He hasn't seen her in 2 years.  It will be our first time meeting her and we are pretty excited.  She just turned 18.

Thanks so much for sharing your trip!

I enjoyed seeing all of your photos.  I have not gotten a chance to visit London and not sure if I will since DH has too many health issues unless I go with a friend.

Looks like the food was good!Smiley Happy. Did you get to visit Harrods?  If I get a chance to go I would love to visit Harrods, Selfridges, the Tower of London & the Churchill War bunker.

@haddon9    We've been to both Harrod's and Selfridges and much prefer the latter but they are both unique.  The food halls of both are spectacular.
