On way to airport.  I used the ship’s shuttle- do not recommend. At least, for solos like me, is one of the cheapest and easiest ways to go. But a taxi is probably just as much (possibly cheaper) if you have 2.

Final lunch in Europe at the airport.  Dessert was yummy!!

My cuddly fella, who is finding lots of reasons to be close to me today.

And baby girl, who gets all of the cat sitter’s attention because she’s so “sweet”. At least, she’s in the same room as me!

In spite of my cold and unfortunate change in itinerary, it was a good vacation.  But, I would recommend land trips to get a better flavor of a place and, in most cases, will likely keep main line cruises to the generic Caribbean. Even though I KNOW itineraries can change, it was still very disappointing to miss Mykonos. I spoke to someone who said it was their first time in Europe and their first cruise - they will never cruise again.

Cruising has its place and that’s to provide a taste. I am fine with that in the Caribbean.  But, I want a bigger bite of the rest of the world.  Of course, I say that now.  Who knows what the future brings as this cruise just put me in diamond status.

@Alter Ego So glad you made it safely home. Knowing you (and I do, don't I?), you still had a wonderful time, even though you couldn't stop by Mykonos and being sick and missing some ports, etc. You are an adventurer, a true traveler, and you know to make the best of any situation, not letting anything damper your mood.
