So enjoying re visiting these beautiful places via your live feeds.
My fiends & Family say that looking at my trip photos is like the “wildlife of —————“ whatever country I visit.
Have a great trip.

Watched the sunset in Burano before I went for dinner.
Had dinner at Trattoria al Gatto Nero
Dinner was fantastic! After I sat down, I was given a glass of Prosecco. I was also given that fish spread starter in the 2nd photo. The risotto was also fish based. But the fish was very delicate and didn’t have that strong fish taste.

That’s it for today! Tomorrow is cruise day, but I’m going to try and see a few things before I board.

No idea. It was small and didn’t try to sell me car insurance.

So, enjoying your trip. Italy always calls to me, have visited many times and always go back.
Will you be able to visit Santorini?

@Alter Ego Sounds like an amazing trip! I LOVE your photos! I just returned from a 2-week trip to Greece and it was the trip of a lifetime! The Greek Islands were #2 on my Bucket List, so I knew it would be amazing, but I was blown away! The food (never had such sweet tomatoes in my life...the lemons were so sweet, you could just gobble them up!), the aegean blue water, the mountains, the islands, the architecture, the history, the culture....) I'm just thrillled for you! ENJOY! I can't wait to see your photos! I guarantee, there won't be a clinker in the bunch!

@Drythe - no Santorini. I had the choice between two itineraries. One with Santorini or one with Mykonos and Anthens, and I chose the latter. I didn’t see (may have missed) a 7-night cruise that did all three. Longer cruises did, but I was limited to remaining vacation days.
@OKPrincess - I don’t know if they were apartments; I assumed houses. Part of the long boring story as to what prompted me staying in Murano was that I was originally going to have a private tour of the island, but it had to be canceled as the tour guide is having her baby this week. I looked through some of the small pocket guides (Rick Steves, for example), but the Burano section was very small in all of them! The Torcello section was much longer.

I hope I get to try some of this great food everyone is mentioning. Part of the negatives in cruising is the short time in port. I was left behind in a cruise excursion in Halifax because I was a minute late because I wanted to have poutine for lunch!!
