When I did research for our UK trip I priced a few companies who would pick up a bag or bags at our last hotel and send the bag home.  They ranged in price from about $80 for a small bag to about $280 for a large heavy bag.  We would have 2 smaller bags and thought it would be money well-spent to be free of the bags on our way home.
